On June 3, 2006, Dr. Liz (center) officiated the wedding ceremony of her brother John (right) and his new wife, Pam (left). In the picture above, the couple exchange rings. The very unique service unfolded with many exquisitely energetically choregraphed events and was filled with extraordinary love.

"It was perfect," John and Pam both happily exclaimed afterwards.

One of the attendees, Bob, a healer in the Valley and a Barbara Brennan Hands of Light Graduate, said he saw a large aura of love create itself and embrace Dr. Liz, then John and Pam and expand to enfold the entire gathering. Dr. Liz of course feels that this is what she brings to such a service, that this is the difference possible when one is an Ordained Spiritual Healer and is the officiant (see related Ron Roth feature story). "I love flowing Sacred Energy into everything, particularly writing and officiating wedding services," Dr. Liz explained. "One thing I particularly love to do is make sure that the energy of the archetype of marriage comes through on the light side, with the couple's professions to each other reflecting conscious choice and awareness of their commitments to each other.

"Of course, this wedding service was a particular joy for me to write and to officiate, since my brother and I have always been close and I've been a part of his love-filled relationship with Pam as it has unfolded. They're a beautiful couple. I felt inspired from the very beginning for them."

The wedding vows were particularly beautiful and "just came through when I connected with the Divine and with the couple's incredible energy," Dr. Liz said. John and Pam glowed as they exchanged vows. Other features of the service included the exchange of red and white roses and an acknowledgment of each other's two children, bringing the family now to six, through an exchange of sunflowers, very meaningful to all involved.

The wedding site was The Farm on Mad River, 42 acres of magnificent Vermont beauty owned and operated by Bryant Fitzsimmons and Billy Johnson. In Waitsfield, VT, The Farm is available for rental for events. The venue is exquisitely back-dropped by the rush of the Mad River itself and the ever-so- green Green Mountains. Meadows, trees, and waterfalls from every vantage point, offer spectacular views. The hosts are delightful, helpful, and very conscious.

Dr. Liz's brother John owns Sunflower Natural Foods in Waterbury Junction, Vermont. Stop by and say, "Dr. Liz sent me!" if you're ever in that area! Pam, Dr. Liz's new sister-in-law, works at The Store in Waitsfield, Vermont. The Store is a delightful presentation of many items for the home and heart. Again, stop by and say, "Dr. Liz sent me!"

Introducing Madison, shown in the picture with Dr. Liz!

"Madison comes to me to help her body address certain subtle blockages creating difficulties in her mobility, especially in her hindquarters," Dr. Liz explained to us as along with her care-humans, Jack and Carol, Madison enjoyed an in-person, Natural Path Energy Therapy session. NPET is a modality originated by Dr. Liz. NPET combines spiritual healing, intuitive sensing and reading including animal communication of course, and an extremely comprehensive range of energy therapy and balancing services in one session.

"Such sessions are especially wonderful for me because I get to do everything I love to do. I particularly love being able to physically see and play with Madison a little first. Then of course we talk! I continue to talk with her throughout her energy therapy session to determine exactly how she's feeling, ask questions, listen to her responses, and benefit from her clarifications about any issues that come up. As always, I get to be sensitive and reactive to exactly how she's responding in the moment. This makes for a very powerful and effective session."

Madison did very well. Her humans felt that Madison evidenced that she was completely relaxed by almost falling asleep at one point during the session!

When not sleeping, Madison was quite open and talkative. She shared that her one sibling, Bailey, was very easy going; and that her other sibling, Shannon, was stand-offish. Madison's humans felt this was right on the mark relative to Bailey and Shannon!

One point of note, Madison kept calling her sister, Doodle, her "brother." Through questioning, Dr. Liz discovered that a male Pointer, Shane, formerly in the family and who had dropped his body, was using Doodle's body to come back to visit and say, "Hi!"

Madison was very clear about when Shane was back and told Dr. Liz exactly what behaviors Doodle's body did, when Shane was "visiting."

When Dr. Liz shared Madison's explanations of Shane's behaviors in Doodle's body with her persons, they immediately confirmed that these were indeed Shane's behaviors! They also knew immediately what Madison was talking about! Madison's persons excitedly cried out, almost in unison, "I knew it!" They were SO happy when they received confirmation that it was indeed their beloved Shane who was contacting them to say, "Hi!"

Madison now says she's moving much more comfortably and more easily. A very sweet blend of spiritual healing, energy therapy, and animal communication created a very good time for all concerned!

Well, what DOES an off-duty animal communicator do? A few months ago, this off-duty animal communicator donned a Red Hat and danced with Elvis!

Dr. Liz joined the Red Hat Society to bring some fun and relaxation into her life ... and if you'll pardon the expression, to "kick up her heels" a little bit! In the photo, she is dancing and singing in front of the stage of performing Elivs Presley Tribute Artist, Scott Ringersen. Scott, who lives in Florida, looks like, moves like and sings like The King. After the performance, Dr. Liz discovered that he also when off stage has the same profoundly simple modesty and extreme politeness that so marked The King's personality.

Scott Ringersen has been thrilling audiences with his electrifying tribute show "The Elvis Experience" for 10 years. He has an outstanding vocal range, energy and charisma, and seems to have amassed an extensive and extremely loyal following. He is definitely a showman. He has great stage presence (even though he had technical difficulties with his audio equipment the night we enjoyed him) and dons authentic costumes. His show captures the look, sound, moves, style and excitement of perhaps the most brilliantly eclectic artist of our time.

Scott has a deep, assured grasp of all the classic pop, blues, rock and roll, country and gospel from the 50's through the Elvis' concert years. He sings both the common and rare works of Elvis, and is able to perform songs that many other tribute artists cannot do, such as, American Trilogy, Impossible Dream and Hurt. For the past 3 years in a row, Scott has been awarded the prestigious "Best Florida Entertainer" awarded by Florida Monthly Magazine.

It was a tradition of course that The King give out scarves at his events and many tribute artists (a.k.a. "impersonators") continue this tradition ... Dr. Liz received one from 'The King' himself! He was actually singing and moving through the crowd heading for another person, when he turned and gave the scarf in his hand to Dr. Liz. Dr. Liz feels the fact that she was down on her knees begging may have influenced him but only just a little. She is sure he would have given her a scarf anyway!

In the fall of 2004, Cheri McAleese started emailing me about her parakeet, Pipsqueak. She wasn't contacting me in my capacity as an animal communicator to help her understand him, she said. She was contacting me because she had an extraordinary bird who could speak audible, comprehensible words and sentences in context in English. I served a Fortune 500 company as a Vice President at one point in my past, so one episode, I particularly loved. It involved a day when Cheri took Pipsqueak! to work. An employee came into Cheri's office and spoke on and on in a round-about manner for about 20 minutes. Pipsqueak! lost his patience and blurted out, "Get to the point!". Fortunately for her given her job at that time, Cheri says, the employee laughed!

I found the entire day so engaging that I suggested that Cheri and Pipsqueak write a book about their life together. Cheri thought about it and then said, "Others have said this, too."

"Do it!" I encouraged her.

She and Pipsqueak did it! The book, My Name is Pipsqueak! What's Your Name?" (two full sentences Pipsqueak! says) is now available, as is a limited edition CD of Pipsqueak! speaking!

Chapters in the book include how they met, the other beings in their lives including Murph the Senegal Parrot and Ditto another (heavens!) budgie, and how Pipsqueak! went from mimicry to full learning and usage of English words and phrases.
