"Creating
a Happier, Healthier World for People and Animals"
January 2008 |
|
| Dear
Dr. Liz,
It's winter here in Southern New Jersey, U.S.A. The
leaves have fallen. The outdoor temperatures have
dropped, the winds are quite brisk, the air smells
invigoratingly clean, the birds and squirrels and
other woodland beings are scurrying, chirping and
chattering as they search for food.
Much has happened since our last Newsletter! All
of it is exciting, perhaps the most exciting are that
my latest book, Stories of Transformation,
made the Barnes and Noble Best-seller List; that a
British publication named me one of the "top nine
most influential and most accomplished animal communicators
in the world"; and I've facilitated two magical Animal
Communication Workshops, one in Calgary, B.C.,
Canada and another in Southampton, New Jersey, U.S.A.
My thanks to all who participated in any way to
all the projects. For the book, I thank
Paul Scheele, who invited me to be part of that amazing
project (see related article below) that includes Best-selling
authors such as Marie Diamond (from the movie, The
Secret), Anthony Robbins, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and
others.
For the workshops, I include in my gratitude, all
animals and beings in-form and out; all volunteer
assistants in-form and out; and the hosts for both
events! I especially wish to thank Marge
and Lynda (Calgary), Terri and Perry (Southhampton),
and all students and animals who felt, heard, and
answered the call to attend.
For being named one of the world's top nine (I
couldn't resist asking, "You couldn't
find ten?") I thank all the animals
and persons in the world, in form and out, who have
trusted me to serve them these past two decades.
As we mark the second year of Tanuka's passing,
his Spirit is still palapably with us, guiding
us. Beginning in the fall of '06, Tanuka, Cozon,
Sherman, Fred, Barney, Ginger, Alex, Tabatha, Toby,
Tigger, Tasha, Bosco, Doodles, Madison, Pete, and many
other splendid beings, in form and out, facilitated
the building of the Animals' Healing Room here!
While many wanted to call it Tanuka's Healing Room,
Tanuka humbly demurred, feeling the room needed to
be named for all the animals involved in
the room and its important work. The AHR is
a prayer and energy balancing room primarily for the
animals. Animals and their persons feel and respond
very positively and immediately to the very carefully
and lovingly created energy ... even before
they cross the threshold! Many no-longer-in-form beings enter
the room gracefully before each session is scheduled
to begin. There's a tremendous amount of Presence,
Guidance, and Healing Grace from which all benefit.
Many sessions have been held now in the room, as we
mark it's one-year completion date.
Tanuka also helped me complete a major phase
in a project begun several years ago. He's
created, through me and others, an amazing wildlife
habitat here! See the Article, "Wild
and Wonderful," in this Newsletter!
Occasionally, we have delightful stories to share
of the actions and experiences of my animal communication
and spiritual growth students "in the field" throughout
the world. One such story, "Dear Deer," graces
this Newsletter from a Canadian student, Marge Harasymuk.
Last but certainly not least, I have new products
to offer! My CD's that I've been working on and
my latest book, mentioned above, are now finished
and available! Any one or all three make incredible
gifts for yourself or those you love! Stories
from an Animal Communicator is a 2-CD
set with delightful, magical, animal stories from
my 20+ years' experience as an animal communicator.
Breathing for Balance is
one CD containing instruction and guided sessions
in Energy Breathwork, a therapeutic
modality I pioneered about 10 years ago to relieve
stress, cleanse the body, enhance intuition, reduce
fatigue, calm the mind, and elevate the spiritual
level. Stories of Transformation
is a book I co-authored (by invitation!) with greats
including Dr. Wayne Dyer, Anthony Robbins, Marie Diamond
(from the movie, "The Secret"), Brian Tracy, and others.
It made the Barnes and Noble best-seller list the
day it premiered! Another new-for-me product
is PSP+ is an amazing, live-enzyme,
rice-based product helping both animals and people
alike to restore their DNA! All products are
or soon will be, available from my web-site now.
See announcements in this Newsletter!
The higher purpose of this Newsletter is to provide
a way for us to stay in touch, with me sharing what's
going on in this incredible, exciting, and unique
life I'm living and the amazing animals, people, and
other beings who are sharing it with me! I offer
to each of you that as you read each issue, you experience
renewal of your knowing that EACH ONE OF YOU is important
in the greater scheme of things, making a difference
by virtue of who you are, learning, opening, sharing
your life, your love, your gifts.

| Dear
Deer . . . |
"In June of 2007, when Dr. Liz and our mutual
friend Lynda Nicholson were staying at my place for
the Calgary Animal Communication Workshop, a family
of deer ... stag, doe, and fawn ... came into my yard.
While recognizing their great beauty, I was also concerned
about the deer eating my flowers," shares Marge
Harasymuk, a Canadian animal communication and spiritual
healing student of Dr. Liz's. "I raised
my concern to Dr. Liz."
Dr. Liz took the opportunity to teach us.
She told us to visualize the deer "keeping their heads
to the ground, to the grass," while also gently speaking
to the deer telepathically, asking them to keep their
heads to the ground, to the grass, when eating.
She taught us that they would not eat the flowers
in my garden if I visualized and asked them in that
way.
One lovely, sunny, warm, August afternoon,
I looked out of my kitchen window. There was
the beautiful deer pictured above! She was walking
over to my flower garden! I have many tasty
varieties of flower, including pansies, petunias,
and mimimuls, all of which deer like! The deer
was 15 feet from my kitchen window, within arm's reach
of were Dr. Liz had sat outside when she did private
animal communication sessions here the Monday after
the June workshop!
I tapped on the kitchen window. The deer
turned to look at me. I sent her love.
I visualized and said softly, "head to the ground,"
which is what I remembered Dr. Liz teaching.
My camera was nearby. I started to take pictures.
She stood still, watching me calmly. Then
lowered her head towards the basket of mimulus.
As she lowered her head, she tilted it to the side,
watching me! She sensed I was nervous about
my flowers! In an amazing moment, I realized
she was teasing me, acting as if she were about to
taste them!
She didn't! After several minutes, she
slowly and carefully moved her way through my flower
garden! She was very careful about where she
put her feet! She didn't disturb the garden
at all, nor did she nibble on anything!
I've enjoyed this moment over and over again
in my mind ... and I enjoyed my flowers to the rest
of the summer! The entire family of deer stayed
close by all summer long ... and they didn't eat any
of my flowers!"

Creates a Wildlife Habitat |
In 2002, I moved into my current home along
with my daughter (who has since remarried and moved),
my first grandson (I now have two!), and my
wonderful teacher, companion, and beloved friend,
Tanuka. We knew we had something very
special in this amazing property! As with many things
in life, it's simply taken a little while for it
all to unfold and be recognized.
We began almost immediately to prepare the
back yard for sharing with other beings ... the
formerly neglected peach and fig trees were pruned
and fed so that their fruit could be enjoyed
not only by us, but also by birds, bees, squirrels,
and chipmunks. The wall of 20-foot high, 8-feet
diameter arbor vitae bordering the Northwestern property
line was nurtured because it's 100-foot length provided
protection from the NorthWest winds as well
as privacy. Mature bushes and arbor
vitae on the Southeastern line and the trees
in back, were kept (although major storms have since
leveled some) because they supply homes to nesting
birds, bases for burrowing beings, and flowers,
berries and seeds for food. The rain
water liner was kept. The ground cover was
enhanced to help control insect population growth.
I didn't have a conscious thought of developing
a habitat until shortly after my beloved Tanuka,
a black and white American Cocker Spaniel,
dropped his body in October of 2005. The activity
in developing the sanctuary suddenly increased.
It was Tanuka, of course, who knows I miss
him terribly and who also knows how I dearly love
watching wild beings. especially birds and butterflies.
Tanuka directed me lovingly. I found myself adding
a bird bath with fountain, multiple butterfly bushes,
a flower-filled garden deck, and more. Planned
are a butterfly scatter garden and a butterfly house.
Spontaneously I started to say, "A
wildlife sanctuary is creating itself in my backyard."
A short while ago, speaking casually with
a friend, Sheela, I found myself saying the
words again.
Sheela promptly asked me detailed questions
about my "sanctuary." She then declared, "You
have everything you need to have your backyard certified
as a Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
I'll send you the information."
My yard is now a Certified Wildlife Habitat.
Thank you, Sheela!
If you'd like to create a Habitat on your property,
consider providing the following:
Food Sources. For example:
Native plants, seeds, fruits, nuts, berries, suet
cakes, nectar;
Water Sources. For example:
Birdbath, pond, water garden, stream;
Places for Cover. For
example: Thicket, rockpile, birdhouse;
Places to Raise Young.
For example: Dense shrubs, vegetation, nesting
box, pond;
Sustainable Gardening.
For example: Mulch, compost, rain garden, chemical-free
fertilizer.
There is an amazing sense of peace and contribution
that comes from living in such a surround.
Consider it as a gift to God, the planet,
and yourself.

| New Chakra
Discovered! |
Sighentists, Metapsychiatrists and East
Indian Gurus meeting here have discovered a New Chakra
... the Clown Chakra!
(UPI, Laughing Cow, New Jersey, U.S.A.):
Sighentists, Metapsychiatrists, and East Indian
Gurus in conference here have found that the problems
of humanity can be placed under one heading: Seriousness!
They've also found a solution: the activation
of the newly-confirmed Clown Chakra!
"I've suspected that the Clown Chakra existed
for quite some time, and the animals and nature have
confirmed it! There IS another Chakra, the Clown
Chakra," shared our very own Dr. LLLizzz while
speaking at the Bi-Millenia Meeting
of the World Council of Spiritual Frivoloty,
meeting here in Laughing Cow, NJ. "Without
it's activation, we live drab and depressing lives!"
she asserted.

| Some
People Touch Our Lives So Profoundly ... |
 |
|
Some people touch our lives so profoundly
that they single-handedly
alter our entire journey. For me, Winifred "Tim"
Asprey was such a person.
While a student at Vassar College,
I met Ms. Asprey in 1967. Ms. Asprey, herself
a Vassar Graduate (1938) had posted a note on
a library bulletin board offering a non-credit
course in Fortran, a popular computer programming
language of that time. I was then a Latin major
planning on attending Yale Graduate School in Classics.
Except, I had encountered a major problem: I
was highly allergic to the glue binding a 28-volume large,
folio-sized lexicon required then for any advanced
work in Classics. I simply couldn't work with
any of the 28 volumes for more than 1/2 hour
at a time, either because I would fall asleep from
allergy meds I had been given, or because I could
no longer see or breathe. 1/2 hour was nowhere
near enough time to complete the often 4 to 6 hour
homework assignments of an advanced Vassar
Latin major.
In tears of frustration, eyes watering
and nose running, I wandered through the library looking
for any place in the library that didn't make me sneeze.
The computer section didn't make me sneeze!
I saw the Bulletin Board and its notice. I read
that Fortran was a "language." By then I
had learned Latin, Greek, French, German, Russian,
Middle English, and a few others. I could,
I figure, do languages! I could also breathe
there! I signed up!
The Vassar campus at that time, 1967,
was the first women's college in the U.S. to have
it's own computer, an IBM System/360 Model 30.
It was the second college in the country to create
its own computer science department. The class
I signed up for, was the first offered for the new
computer, quite literally just installed.
As Ms. Asprey, visionary that she
was up until her October 19th, 2007 death at the age
of 90, explained computers and computer languages
to our very small class, I somehow absorbed it all.
She gave us our first assignment, writing a Fortran
10 Factorial. I did my assignment and handed
it in.
My program ran perfectly the very
first time. While handing back the listings,
Ms. Asprey looked deeply at me.
"Who are you?" she demanded.
"I know all my students. Why haven't I seen
you in any of my classes before now?"
I cringed. My immediate thought
was that I had gotten excused from all math and science
requirements at Vassar because I had gone to an extremely
advanced high school where I had taken college level
math, science and chemistry courses and done
very well. I feared that Ms. Asprey would now
find some reason to block my upcoming graduation for
lack of necessary math credits!
Pretty defensively, I asked, "Why?"
She saw right through me.
"Because," she replied, "I have never met
anyone who could write a computer program perfectly
the first time."
"Well, all it is, is language
and logic," I replied, still defensive.
"All it is, is language and logic,"
she echoed, at one and the same time teasing and totally
delighted.
I would soon discover about Ms. Asprey
that her greatest talent was developing a mind; and
her greatest joy, putting two or more minds together
to see what would happen!
At the end of the non-credit course
in Fortran, Ms. Asprey declared:
"There's an IBM recruiter coming
to campus in a few weeks. Go!"
When Ms. Asprey ordered you to do
something, I had learned, you did it. The
story of how I got hired by IBM is extremely funny,
I'll save it for another Newsletter. But hired
I was. I very quickly got assigned to Mission
Planning in Computer Architecture, designing human-friendly
computer architectures and languages. This catapulted
me to giving lectures nationally and beyond,
in various aspects of computer technology.
At national conferences, I became
a frequent "warm-up" speaker for Captain Grace Hopper, also
a Vassar Graduate (1928), and the woman who designed
not only the world's first computer compiler, but
also, the person who first coined the word, "debugging"
when referring to finding a glitch in computer
functioning. The following picture is from Cpt. Hopper's
team notes:
Pictured is a moth, taped to the 9/9
notes, and the humorous words, "first actual case
of bug being found." History was instantly made,
and the terms, "bug" and "debugging" were anchored
into computer-speak!
As Divine Grace would have it, I felt
to travel 4 hours to Poughkeepsie, NY, this past June
(2007) and visit Ms. Asprey in her home.
The home was originally built for Captain Hopper and
her husband when she served as a professor at Vassar.
It was only natural that Ms. Asprey would live there
when she herself returned to the Vassar math department
to teach.
I feel so blessed that I was guided
to go, and to thank in person, this amazing woman
who changed the course of my life. She laughed
delightedly as I shared the incredibly funny story
of how I got hired by IBM and many stories of what's
happened in my life since, including the many contributions
I made to the computer industry while I was an active
part of it. Although her body was quite frail,
her mind was totally alert, active. She was
fascinated when I shared with her how I came to
be doing what I'm doing now, including animal communication,
spiritual healing, and using the EPFX/SCIO/Quantum
biofeedback device. Genius that she is,
she understood instantly as I explained what
I could repeat of its fractal analysis, fourier
transform, homeopathic and crystal basis (clearly,
not discussions I have with most people!).
Even though I've had nothing to do with the design
of the EPFX/SCIO, the device that I use, I HAVE
recognized its genius and its pioneering nature
... and with her delight, I felt proud that somehow
I was carrying on a very distinguished Vassar tradition
of working with and applying highly advanced, visionary,
computer technology!
For most people, I might now say,
"Rest in Peace." But for Ms. Asprey,
I say, tears in my eyes, "Thank you! And
how blessed you are now, to have the greatest minds
of all time, throughout all time, as your moment by
moment companions!"
