Beautiful
Joan Borysenko,
Magnificent
Facilitator
The
following pictures were taken either by me or by Paul Voelkel.
I acknowledge Joan from the depths of my heart. I would
say <big grin>, "I would follow her anywhere"
. . . and note that I already have!!! Much love to you always,
Joan!
Joan
Borysenko is a magnificent, wise, and accomplished facilitator,
full of compassion and grace, whose life is dedicated to
empowering women. She leads numerous women's retreats throughout
the world and is constantly questing to learn more, the
better to share with those she meets, teaches, and loves.
I personally received from her, the incalculable
gift of seeing myself through her eyes, as a Healing Priestess.
Thank you, Joan, from the depths of my heart. In this picture,
she absorbs the beauty, the peace, and the spirituality
after a prayer ceremony facilitated by a Priest of the Temples
of a Private Home of the Royal Family.
One
of the very powerful processes Joan facilitated for us,
was a water process in the lagoon at the Hotel. We all felt
truly and wondrously reborn through her.
Joan
is studying Lakota Indian traditions. She was surprised
and delighted to find that an altar cloth she was stitching
on the airplane, was precisely the pattern inlaid on the
floor at the Kuala Lumpur airport! Amazing coincidence?
or One Mind? :):):)
Another
amazing "coincidence" was that the Medicine Wheel
drawn by our Balinese Spiritual Teacher, Healer, and Guide,
Sugina, during our first lecture on Balinese Spirituality,
was practically identical to the Medicine Wheel Joan had
learned from her Lakota teacher. Peoples living as Spirit,
close to nature, we're observing, have numerous overlaps
of belief. Reminds me powerfully of Sathya Sai Baba's observation:
"There
is only one religion, the religion of love;
There
is only one language, the language of the heart;
There
is only one race, the race of humanity;
There
is only one god, and He is omnipresent."

Here
Joan gracefully leads us through a Tai Chi exercise to honor
the Spirits of the four directions. We experienced many
beautiful processes and rituals, on the hotel grounds, in
the lagoon, on the beach, on the bus, in the Temples.
