Marge - I'd like to share this wonderful news ... I've had two prayer requests answered .. both relating to my work, but also one of them to help my clients purchase the acreage of their choice so that they could bring all of their horses home .. and that prayer has been answered! THank You All!

GirlyGirls - I imagine this will feel strange for a while, then the strange will become normal. .. and I don't want the strange to become normal. DZP, my beloved Pinky girl died last Saturday, and it's a huge, huge change in life here.

I'm just staying quiet, trying to comfort myself by feeling what it felt like to have her here. . .Thank you, DZP, it's good to be among folks that understand. . .I had one friend get annoyed with me because she had a cat for me to adopt (says she - perfect) the day I was going to have Pinky cremated. I try to explain it's not like I'm looking for a replacement.

Elizabeth - I feel that when people are doing that, that is, suggesting another animal shortly after we've lost an animal, they're really trying to do what they know, to comfort us in our grief .. and what they may know is to give us another to love in physical form. That may not be what works for a particular someone, though.
GirlyGirls - DZP -- it's interesting, the ones I thought would get it, say, Oh Geez, sorry, then go on and on about their problems with their ex . . and frankly I don't want to hear it. . then it's well, are you going to get another cat today? So Marge, I guess they think they are being helpful, but it's intrusive to me.

Elizabeth - Dee, I've heard that said. When my 2 year old nephew died suddenly years ago, people around my brother and his wife said to them, "Well, you're young yet, you can always make another baby."
GirlyGirls - One told me not to be surprised to get one for Christmas, I said, Please, don't.

Elizabeth - Different people have different mind sets as to what may comfort another. What can be one person's comfort can be totally incorrect and inappropriate to another.
GirlyGirls - Oh, DZP, where is the tumor?
Elizabeth - It's sweet to be around people whose belief systems and 'rules' for comforting are aligned with one's own.
Wolf - GG - my neighbor and friend - June - and I feel that most people are "Muggles" - the word for "non-magical folk" from the Harry Potter books - it covers a lot of their "dum" behavior!
Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - the vet seems to think the tumor can be removed and it isnt cancerous, and the paralasis may be a cold in her spine that they are treating with anitbiotics

GirlyGirls - I know, between the incredibly miraculous consolations I've received, it has been peppered with some really strange situations with people suddenly wanting to monopolize my time by telling me details about their life. . on and on and on

GirlyGirls - You are correct Liz; i know this when I hear these things so I remain patient, however, I really needed to vent. . I've been staying quiet about it.
GirlyGirls - DZP are they going for the surgery?
Elizabeth - DZP ... it may be that all toxins in the body are collecting in the tumor, that it is wicking them and that is the catalyst for the growth of the tumor. Removing it and doing good follow up care feels correct.
Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - GG- yes hopefully surgery tomorrow..the tumor is affecting his ability to walk
GirlyGirls - I think so too, Liz. . Do you know what time (and what time zone) is the surgery. . .we can send protection and prayers at that hour.
Wolf - GG- it's like Liz had explained in her old Monday classes - people like to "join" by wounding - I know that's not the terminology Liz - but - she used to say - about one person was not allowed to eat Tastykakes and another responds that they were not allowed to have Twinkies - the "bond" is wounding - it's not healthy to do

GirlyGirls - Everything looks pretty good, we know we've got some environmental problems in the world, but yes, Liz, it's toxicity, but is it this extreme, and are we becoming so weakened by our Spirituatl?Physical?Emotional? states that we invite them so easily?
Marge - Elizabeth, I know I'm going off topic, but in your Wonderful e-letter, you quote the Dalai Lama "All there is is ignorance and enlightenment. When faced with ignorance, respond with compassion. " I'm referring to a very difficult experience tht made me very angry and stressed,, .. and as these words ran through my mind, I asked myself, .. can I respond to this person with compassion? .. and as I tried, my anger immediately started to melt away. Very powerful message! Very difficult to apply!
Elizabeth - GG ... add environmental. Especially from wave frequencies.
GirlyGirls - If you asked a room of folks if they knew of anyone close to them who had a cancerous/non-cancerous tumor all hands would be raised.
GirlyGirls - Oh yes, my father did the original work on the wave frequency tumor stuff. Flipped out when he saw where I lived in an apartment right by high tension wires. I know of a horse farm that is under those, too. ..

Where were you emotionally and spiritually when the situation presented, and then the thought expressed within you of what you had read in my E-Newsletter ... and then what? Share!

GirlyGirls - I don't believe anger at such situations is inappropriate, Liz. For instance, Jesus toppling the tables of the money changers in the temple, you jumping between the gentle dog and the mean man with the stick. Of course, I know the Objective Witness Stance is most correct, but I did, and still feel it is natural to be horrified at such violence. I don't have the conflicts, because I was never a follower of Amma. . .the Blessed Mother Mary is enough Divine Mother for me . . . I admit to being suspicious of folks who promote their own following. . .MOther Theresa did much good, but did not promote herself as such. .

Elizabeth - A metaphor was presented to me once, that spiritual elevation is like climbing a ladder, step by step, level by level. I always thought of that as a 'hierarchical' deity idea, based on a 'hierarchical religious construct', until I realized that it is a totally true metaphor for the uprising of sacred energy along the chakra channels of the body ... and as they rise, we have the opportunity to connect all of them, all opened, all allowing the in-flow of Divine energy and it's out-flow and expression as well, completely connected.

Elizabeth - GG, there is 'anger' and there is 'anger'. It is the level of anger, where it is felt, how it is expressed, whether it comes from someone totally focused on God or not, that makes the difference.

Elizabeth - Wisdom literature is full of expressions of the God's of various belief systems expressing some form of 'anger'. It is not human anger, however. It is not something we as humans feel or even truly understand. It is a rare form of almost inexplicable anger expressed with Divine love.

Elizabeth - It may be true that there is something called Divine anger or righteous anger. But it occurs very differently when a Divine being is expressing it.
RosieTara - I can cope with anger, but violence is terrible
GirlyGirls - Ouch! laura! I may be at that stage of grief at the moment, but it feels like it's borderline numb, moreso.

Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - why- is it because anger shows that we are "judging" others actions?
Marge - Liz, when I read your e-letter, I felt enrage and betrayal, couldn't understand how anybody could be cruel (seemingly intentionally) to animals ... it took me quite a while to try to see the situation with any degree of compassion.
RosieTara - I think everybody expresses anger in a different way
GirlyGirls - I did an exercise for a period of time. . . I treated anger like it was an alien being, I couldn't allow it in my being or thoughts, couldn't let it in, take hold. I found myself crying, crying, crying. . .all the instances when I would have been angry. That was back in my 20s. . . what a lesson!
Elizabeth - When most humans experience anger, it burns inside the person who is experiencing it or expressing it somewhere, like it did with me when I was experiencing the righteous indignation and the anger over the dog being hit and hurt with the man's stick in Karunamayi’s Ashram in India.
Marge - yes Liz, as it did in me when I read about it
GirlyGirls - What did Abraham Lincoln say? Something like I don't care much for any religion that does not benefit dogs and cats. . .something like that. .

Elizabeth - For some it hits the head, for some the heart, for some the liver, or the spleen, or the gall bladder, or the kidneys, or the skin ... for some, a mix.
GirlyGirls - Now, see Liz, it's a judgement issue for me. I don't feel required to feel compassion for these people. That's a judgement in itself, isn't it? A condescension of sorts? I think it's enough to say, it is what it is.

Elizabeth - Dee ... in 1992 I took a psychic self protection class from Del Pe, then a student of Master Choa Kok Sui, a Phillipino healer and author of several books on Pranic Healing.
Elizabeth – EFT = Emotional Freedom Technique.
GirlyGirls - I'm better off focusing on healing energy for the animals, rather than compassion for those who allow such abuses.
Elizabeth - We have a chat on it in the archives. RT, you've probably got it somewhere.
Elizabeth - In one of the processes, we had two people turn their backs to each other, 15 feet apart. The one was to think angry thoughts about the other. Our assignment was to watch what happened energetically.
Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - GG- i just pray that something comes along that changes the actions of those people, so they change their behavior

Elizabeth - In part one of the assignment, the second person ... the receiver of the anger ... did nothing, just stood there.

Elizabeth - In part two of the exercise, unbeknownst to the person who was to feel and emit the anger and the person who would be receiving it, we (the class) were invited to pray for the person who was the 'target'.

Elizabeth - In this example, the person feeling and emitting the anger again energetically contracted, and his aura colors changed ... but this time, a shield of prayer energy materialized around the person being prayed for, and the anger bounced off the shield … the shield formed by the prayer energy from the class ... and then ...
Elizabeth - a totally amazing thing happened ... the anger that had bounced off, increased in power and intensity and returned to the person who was originally assigned to feel and emit the anger.
Elizabeth - It make him start to shake. And sweat.
GirlyGirls - At the time I became very ill with Mono, and Pinky developed the tumor, and Fannie her spasmodic cough, My ex boyfriend had taken up with an addicted woman who was insanely jealous of me, and harassed me with phone calls, and threatened me (lived in Vancouver, me in Philly. . I mean how much of a threat can I be). .. anyway, I had to call the police on her. . .then I had a dream aboutone of my guides looking as thought they had taken punches in order to shield me. . I believe her anger energetic was very responsible for what happened in my home.
Elizabeth - So then the instructor stepped in, invited us all to pray for that person too, and he became okay again.

Marge - Wow Liz, this is incredible!!!! To me, even though seeing an animal that's emaciated due to lack of food, which I feel is cruel ... I feel differently inside than when seeing someone intentionally beat an animal, also cruel .... the latter I couldn't feel compassion for.
Elizabeth - An interesting thing happened when the exercise was repeated, when love was the feeling.
GirlyGirls - Elizabeth. this is why many Catholics regularly say the prayer to St. Michael the archangel for protection. . .

Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - GG- the power of the energy we send out, or is sent to us...if we only all made a conscious effort to avoid the negativity
Elizabeth - The person feeling and emitting the love, expanded and the aura brightened; so did the person receiving the love. And when the second person was prayed for, BOTH people's auras expanded and brightened. And the energy went back and forth, back and forth, between them.
RosieTara - Compassion....
Elizabeth - RT ... it occurs that doing our best to be aware of our feelings, what's happening inside us, and doing our best to flow those feelings through and reframing them to as positive an energy and as high a level as we can in that moment, may be constructive for us.
Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - Liz- it is just unfortunate that most people vibrate at such low energy, that they aren't aware of the effects on their energy fields
GirlyGirls - My pastor/confessor friend always tells me to pray for those who have injured me, because it diminishes the damage they cause and strengthens me.

GirlyGirls - DZP did you know someone/some medical instutition in LA has done acutal studies on the rate at which folks vibrate. So say, the average person is virbrating at 60. . .and an addict vibrates at 23. . .
Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - i believe that even if you can not feel compassion for an individual person, then send love energy to the situation, that has to help some
Dee&Phoebe&Zoe - GG- i know myself, if i am in a negative environment, i feel "slower" and can't wait to recharge and protect myself
GirlyGirls - Yes, Liz. The interesting thing is that he does not require me to feel love or compassion for that person. .. to simply start by praying for them. I do so out of obedience, really. If, in spiritual direction, he gives me something to do, I do it. But even if done in obedience, the intention of course exists to change, to elevate, to evolve and heal and things begin to happen anyway. you know?
Elizabeth - For me, a major difficulty has been, I've wanted to please others, and I've experienced co-dependence as an issue. For me, that has expressed in my life as being very concerned, even over-concerned, about how someone might react to what I'm feeling or about to say. So I have in the past often edited myself and this short circuits our energies to an extent. It also takes us out of being centered. So I had to learn to be centered again, and be more relaxed on the matter of being afraid to disappoint others (which is really being afraid of disappointing the inner critic).
Wolf - there is a Dr. David Hawkins who has done mapping of the consciousness. I have cd's of his that were for a class with my Hawaiian teacher - they are awesome!

GirlyGirls - Pinky taught me much about now worrying about pleasing Liz. I was thinking about that today. The critics who said, about the time I chose to spend with her, "she's holding you back" (from what? From what others think I should be doing?) I stood my ground many times, was yelled at by friends, and hurt by their comments. But I truly believe that all of the beautiful, caring loving energy that surrounded us when she died, the little miracles of which you were an part and instrument, told the story of being true to my own lesson. . not other's interpretations or ideas about how and where I am to find my lessons and grace.
