GirlyGirls - The participation in the sacraments, the experience being loved in community, is part of the remembrance and presence of God's gift to us in the life, birth, and death of Jesus. That's simply where I am. I know devout Jews, and atheists, and I have a hard time being critical of any belief system.

Tree - I met a man who left the seminary. I asked him his thoughts on Christ. He said he felt Christ is misunderstood.

Leslie - Was fortunate to have had a spiritual mentor who was definitely Spirit-filled. He was also a retired minister and was religious but wasn't very spiritual till much later in life---what a difference.

Tree - When I moved into my house I'm living in now....one day I was cleaning up the backyard and I found a statue of St. Francis! He now stands in front of the tree where I found him.
