jane - Hi Dr. Liz - where is everyone?
jane - I'll be back in a few minutes...
Dr. Liz - Hi, Jane! Don't know where everyone is. :)
Dr. Liz - Usually there's a lovely group signed on by now.
maggie - logged on. - from . using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_2; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Safari/531.21.10 on Thu Feb 25 9:07pm ET)
maggie - hi
Dr. Liz - We're experiencing yet another snow storm here, so that may have something to do with it.
Dr. Liz - Rosie-Tara is at a KaffeKlatch, so she won't be able to join us this time.
Dr. Liz - Hi, Maggie!
maggie - Hi I'm glad to be here
Dr. Liz - :) Thank you, Maggie.
Dr. Liz - Is it snowing where you are? It's snowing here.
Dr. Liz - And the wind has just picked up pretty significantly.
maggie - I'm in Philly and it's snowing
maggie - I just walked across the city in the snow
Dr. Liz - I like to walk in the snow, too. So, fortunately, does Mr. Smudge!
maggie - am I still logged in?
Dr. Liz - Maggie, yes.
maggie - yep
Dr. Liz - Matter of fact, he doesn't want to come back inside!!!
Dr. Liz - Wow. When you say, "walked across the city", where were you walking?
maggie - One of my cats loves to walk in snow but we don't live where he can go out now.
maggie - walked from the Delaware nears Penn's landing and back to my apart at 22nd and Spruce.
Bonnie - logged on. - from . using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; GTB5; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.2) on Thu Feb 25 9:15pm ET)
Dr. Liz - Bet it was lovely. :)
Dr. Liz - Hi, Bonnie!
Bonnie - Hello everyone
maggie - yes
maggie - Hi Bonnie
Dr. Liz - I mostly walk around my neighborhood. We like it, Mr. Smudge and I.
Dr. Liz - Bonnie, how is the weather were you are? Two of us are experiencing a snow storm tonight, Maggie, and myself.
Dr. Liz - Jane, who is in Louisiana, had snow last time we all met.
Bonnie - I am near you Liz. I am in Pine Hill, NJ
Dr. Liz - She signed on a bit ago and said she'd be back.
Dr. Liz - Bonnie, LOL, so you're getting snow and winds, too!
Bonnie - It's a gentle snow. The wind is not bad here
Dr. Liz - Here, I just took my chimes down, because the gusts are so strong!
jane - He everyone - I'm bbbaaacccckkkk - we were supposed to have snow here again yesterday morning, but it did not happen - and well, the Saints already won the Superbowl - we don't need a 3rd snow here!!
maggie - Hi jane
Dr. Liz - Jane ... LOL
jane - Of course, I meant - Hi everyone - not He everyone - my fingers and brain do not match sometimes! Hi MAggie
Dr. Liz - I have a topic tonight I'm really busting to have everyone share about. The topic is, How important is the food we eat!!!
maggie - My daughter (from California ) is visiting New Orleans and Lafeyette this week
maggie - food yes
Dr. Liz - I've always felt that food, the food we eat, the food that our animals eat, is VERY important.
jane - Dr. Liz - I could not wait for this session - Eating healthy is a passion of mine and there is very little healthy food in Louisiana!!
Dr. Liz - For me, personally, when I go "off diet", meaning, off the food choices that I know work for me, this body responds pretty quickly and doesn't feel so well.
Dr. Liz - I see the same thing happening in our animal friends.
jane - Hi Maggie - I am sure they will love the area - it is beautiful there.
maggie - yes, I have to be careful. I can cheat a little but not too much
Dr. Liz - Maggie, I love New Orleans. I've had wonderful, exciting, happy times there. :)
Dr. Liz - Two days ago, I got to thinking about WHY people choose to eat well.
maggie - I'm never sure what to feed the cats- they only eat dry food and have a favorite- picky
jane - Dr. Liz - pet food is such a serious thing - no one believes me when I tell them to do an internet search on "the horrors of pet food" or to read Ann Martin's book, etc......They have deep seeded beliefs and trust in Purina, Science Diet, etc.....it never ceases to amaze me!
Dr. Liz - I know why we choose to feed our animals well ... it's so that they can live longer, happier, healthier lives.
Dr. Liz - I got to thinking, what is the goal? Is the goal to live a long, healthy life? Or is the goal to feel really good while you're going THROUGH life, or .. what is the goal?
Dr. Liz - For those of you who DO eat consciously and well, what is your goal?
jane - The goal is to keep them out of the vet's office - for me anyway.
Dr. Liz - Maggie ... "picky" ... LOL
maggie - I try to stay away from wheat and sugar and feel good
Dr. Liz - Maggie, I do, too.
Dr. Liz - I got to thinking, what do the longest-lived people i the world, eat?
Dr. Liz - Where do they live? HOW do they live?
maggie - Are they in Ecuador? Japan? where?
Dr. Liz - And I did a search on the world's longest-lived people, and started to read about them.
Dr. Liz - I found out something I never knew before ... I found out there is a category of person called "supercentarian" ... they are people who live to 110 or more years of age.
maggie - Today I visited a friends who write many books on medicinal foods and cooks that way and she gave me a great soup and gave me some licorice root to chew on
Dr. Liz - So I started to research, one by one, the people who were listed in different places, as supercentarians.
jane - Isn't it getting to be more common these days - like Socrates in Way of the Peaceful Warrior?
Dr. Liz - I was chewing licorice today, too! What a small world!!!
jane - Maggie - mmmmmmmm- licorice root - sounds so yummy - NOT !!! Is it?
Dr. Liz - Jane, not necessarily more common, no. What is more common, is that more of the supercentarian's ages are being better documented.
maggie - Licorice roots clears all the 12 channels of the meridians
jane - REALLY????? What kind of licorice root??
maggie - you chew it and then spit it out
jane - Doesn't licorice raise your blood pressure - or is that an old wives tale?
maggie - China town kind of licorice root
Dr. Liz - I found out something VERY interesting. At least one of the things I found, is a complete paradox ... the United States is unarguably the sickest country in the world ... however, the U.S.A. also has the largest number, by country, of supercentarians in the world! Go figure!!!
maggie - don't know about Blood pressure. doesn't seem like it would
Bonnie - Better health care??
Dr. Liz - Followed closely by France and Japan.
jane - Well, how many of us have heard of people and animals who have lived to be old - and have terrible diets - drink, smoke, etc....is it just genes?? I know there is a combination of genes, diet, environment, etc...eight??
Dr. Liz - Jane, I had that thought, too ... so I continued the research to figure out what was known about what the supercentarians were eating.
jane - How healthy are the supercentarians? Are they healthy?

Dr. Liz - The oldest living person in the U.S., who died recently, ate greasy foods, drank, and smoked. He lived to be 114.
Helen - logged off. - from . using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 on Thu Feb 25 9:30pm ET)
Dr. Liz - Hi, Helen!
jane - My main concern is not age, but quality of life.
Helen - logged on. - from . using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 on Thu Feb 25 9:31pm ET)
Dr. Liz - The oldest living person I knew of before I started this inquiry, was Norman Walker, who lived to be 117 and was a raw foodist.
jane - Hi Helen
Helen - Hi everyone, should know not to use the link in the email
jane - Well - he is a WALKER, right!
Dr. Liz - Helen, thank you.
Dr. Liz - Jane LOL
Dr. Liz - Anyway, what I found is, there is NO correlation between longevity and diet, geographical location, exercise program, or life style.
Helen - thanks for what?
jane - That is so amazing, Dr. Liz - really amazing. I can't wait to hear about this.
Dr. Liz - What they all DID have in common, however, is ... they all had an answer for what their "secret" was ... or what their "formula" was ... for living to a ripe, old age. It's not just genes, either, because most of the people outlived their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Dr. Liz - However, their formulas were all different!
Dr. Liz - For one, it was to keep moving always.
Dr. Liz - For another, it was to always do good things for others.
jane - Dr. Liz - were they healthy and active?
Dr. Liz - For a third, it was to make sure to be happy as often as possible in as many ways as possible.
Dr. Liz - For a fourth, it was a cigar a day.
Dot - logged on. - from . using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100202 Firefox/3.5.8 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) on Thu Feb 25 9:36pm ET)
Dr. Liz - Jane, mostly, yes.
Dr. Liz - Hi, Dot!
jane - Oh my gosh - I have definitely heard - TO KEEP MOVING !!!
jane - Hi Dot
Dr. Liz - For another, it was to walk a certain distance every day, for at least as long as she could.

Bonnie - So there is no straight answer
Dot - Hello to all
jane - logged off. - from . using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618) on Thu Feb 25 9:38pm ET)
Dr. Liz - And I got to feeling and sensing their beliefs, and their life energies ... and what came to mind, was the work I did a few years back, with Bruce Lipton and his, "The Biology of Belief." I realized that their belief ... whatever that belief was ... was so powerful for them, and so timeless in its presence in their lives, that they quite literally changed their DNA pictures, to create longevity.
Dr. Liz - Bonnie, actually, there is, but it's a spiritual answer.
jane - logged on. - from . using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618) on Thu Feb 25 9:38pm ET)
maggie - that makes sense to me
jane - Bruce Lipton is a regular guest on Coast to Coast AM radio show.
Dr. Liz - For example, the man in Montana, had the absolutely unshakeable deep belief that living a good life, which for him was eating greasy foods, drinking, and smoking a cigar a day ... was going to make him live a long and healthy life. He created that belief in his 40's ... and it manifested.
Dr. Liz - Jane, yes. I met him and spent a day with him a number of years ago. Fascinating man, Bruce Lipton, and fascinating work.
Dr. Liz - And the woman in France, had the unshakeable belief, that keeping moving, would help her live a long life. And it did. 114.
Bonnie - That belief had to be a very strong one because in today's world you are pelted with the do's and dont's to live a long healthy life.
Dr. Liz - In all cases, it is a very simple belief, so deeply held, that separating the belief from the person is impossible. Which is what makes it spiritual.
Dr. Liz - Bonnie, precisely.
Dr. Liz - And also, what makes it change, alter, the DNA structure.
Dr. Liz - Anyway, that's my theory. :)
maggie - I've met a few very old people who really wanted to die and they just wouldn't and they were really angry about it., They were old and alone and didn't have anything goig on but still they just had to wait their time.
Dr. Liz - So it frees us up, each of us, to find what we feel TRULY works for us, to help us feel totally alive, totally engaged in life … and to do exactly that, whatever it may be!!!
Dr. Liz - Maggie, I've done a great deal of work around death and dying. I have found that everyone chooses his or her time. If someone is truly wanting to go, they will.
Dr. Liz - So in your case, Maggie, they were choosing to "wait their time", meaning, they were waiting until an event happened, that they could attach the belief to, "Now it's my time."
jane - That is a really amazing concept - especially if it involves physically destructive things - like maybe eating at McDonald's every day - drinking and smoking - being a couch potato. But then you read about the serious athletes who drop dead in their 30's...
jane - So it is all in your mind....?
maggie - OKay,
Dr. Liz - Well, another thing all the supercentarians had in common, it seems, is a sense of good-natured flow about life ... a belief in the value of humor ... and a belief in a non-linear sense of time ...
Dr. Liz - They detach from a linear lifespan orientation. This seems to impact the strength and flow of their energy field in a desirable way that influences their longevity.
jane - Honestly, Dr. Liz - I know people who breeze through life - nothing bothers them at all - it is like they ahve blinders on to all of the bad things that happen - - to me it is like not living in the "real" world - but so what - they seem happy - who cares?
Dr. Liz - Their "mantra" ... "keep moving" ... or, "eat greasy foods, drink, and smoke a cigar a day" ... any mantra of that nature is timeless, non-linear.
Dr. Liz - So our opportunity is to create our "mantra", whatever that is ... a timeless statement about who we are in the matter of living a wonderful healthy life.
jane - Did anyone read or see the movie "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" - well, you probably KNOW Dan Millman - I just have a problem really living outside of the box - we talk about non-linear time, but I wake up every morning and see the clock every day - how do you break out of linear time?
Dr. Liz - Jane, for me, I stopped wearing a watch!!!
jane - Dr. Liz - you said living a wonderful healthy life - but addictions and unhealthy eating are not healthy - am I missing something here?
jane - I stoped wearing a watch about 10 years ago - but I still have to be at work at a certain time, etc...
Dr. Liz - Jane, I'm saying, that would be MY mantra ... it may not be someone else's mantra ...
maggie - I always follow spirit. If I have a day on the calender that I have no clients I know spirit has something else in mind for me.
Dr. Liz - Jane, I have come to believe, the balance between being in the flow of spirit, while also recognizing wall-clock time as a construct of universal cooperation, IS possible. It just takes awareness and practice.
Dr. Liz - Maggie, me, too.
maggie - Often I'll look and see a free day but then spirt has BIG plans for me.
Dr. Liz - Maggie, I'm sure that's a delicious feeling for you!!!
jane - How does all of this relate to what we feed our animals?
maggie - my trust grows and grows..
Dr. Liz - It relates because when we feed our animals a great diet, we hold the mantra, the belief, FOR them ... we radiate that mantra, "great food = long life". They pick up on that. Also, for ourselves, the limitless possibilities we may all have in influencing our gene expression through our beliefs, behaviors, experiences, and environments in which we interact, is a very compelling thought.
Dr. Liz - The longest-lived dog I ever had myself, ate only table food … good table food … and lived to be 21.
jane - What does it take to change our beliefs - I seem to remember Bruce Lipton saying something about "reprogramming" our minds with something like hypnosis?
Dr. Liz - Jane, there are so many ways to change beliefs ... the two I use, that I feel work the best, are EFT and PATHS.
jane - There are dog s who live on Wal*Mart Ole Roy hard kibble (with horrible things in it) that live to be 20 or older - they also have vaccines every year (which I think are harmful).
jane - I know about EFT
Dr. Liz - Jane, yes. So we now know there are other factors at work, besides food.
Dr. Liz - My neighbor is an actuarial consultant. Shortly after I moved in, after we had become friends, he came to me and said, "I'm working on a study that I know will fascinate you."
Dr. Liz - He told me that statisticians had discovered a town in the U.S. where everyone lived an inordinately long life. They sent investigators to that town, to find out what was going on.
Dr. Liz - They thought at first, that they would find they all ate well, or exercised regularly, or had good "gene pools", or had a temperate climate, or that they never got or hardly ever got sick.
Dr. Liz - None of that proved to be true.
Dr. Liz - What the investigators found, was that people ate the S.A.D. (standard American Diet), that they were very inconsistent with exercise, some exercising and some not, that many of them were overweight, that they lived in a northern climate with occasionally very cold winters, and that they DID get sick.
Dr. Liz - The investigators also found, that whenever anyone had a problem ... emotional troubles, sickness, being hospitalized, ANYTHING ... the entire town responded with support, encouragement, whatever was needed.
Dr. Liz - So the investigators decided that it was COMMUNITY that mattered.
Dr. Liz - Looking NOW at the results of that study, I could offer, the ENTIRE TOWN had the "mantra" ... COMMUNITY MATTERS ... and they LIVED that mantra.
Dr. Liz - Fascinating idea, eh?
jane - That is so very powerful!
maggie - yes
jane - It is all about caring about each other and caring about yourself...
Dr. Liz - "COMMUNITY MATTERS" is a perfect mantra .. . its totally timeless ... non-linear ... very spiritual ... easy to feel deeply ...
Dr. Liz - Jane, it was for them!
Dr. Liz - Comments?
Bonnie - So it's a belief that is deeply rooted and unshakeable. That is strong because so many people are swayed even in a gentle breeze.
Dr. Liz - Bonnie, yes. A belief that is deeply rooted and strong, unshakeable. But it isn't the same belief, for everyone ... although in that particular community, it was.
Dr. Liz - However, the ENERGY of the belief, whatever it is, is IDENTICAL.
Dr. Liz - That's what makes it so spiritual.
maggie - The past 4 years , my community turned against me because I found out things they didn't want anyone to know- it's been horrible- My prayer has been to turn this around
Bonnie - What is the origin of this belief?
Dr. Liz - Maggie, do EFT on it.
maggie - Yes, I 've been doing a lot of healing.
jane - Oh, Maggie - I can identify with that - I am so NOT STATUS QUO - it is hard sometimes to go against the grain - this is true at work too.
Dr. Liz - Bonnie, I'm finding myself wondering, what do you mean, by your question, "what is the origin of this belief"?
Dr. Liz - Maggie, Jane, I'm fairly convinced that if you're on a spiritual path, strongly on one, you're NOT normal ... I used to tease all of my students in my workshops, that if you want to be normal, I'm not the right person to be around!!!
Bonnie - Why do people belief in these beliefs? Why would one believe "the cigar" gave him long life another "companionship", etc?
Bonnie - Believe not beliefs
Dr. Liz - Ahh, Bonnie, yes, I see. I feel the beliefs get formed as a part of living.
Dr. Liz - Along the way. In the course of life. Normal Walker at the age of 35 or 36 was diagnosed with a terminal illness and sent to a farm in France to die.
Bonnie - Some of these almost seem as if they have justified a habit.
jane - Beliefs that are ingrained us since childhood - and maybe even before that??
Dr. Liz - The farmers were "poor" and only had raw fruits and vegetables, nuts, and seeds, sprouts, and other similar foods, to feed him.
Dr. Liz - He didn't die. In fact, he got healthier and healthier and stronger and stronger.
jane - That is such a great story - they probably could not afford meat - the raw foods are so healthy!
Dr. Liz - He created the belief, that raw, living foods, heal. End of story. Absolutely. And that colon health, as favorably impacted by raw, living foods, was the most important key to a long, healthy life. He passionately lived that mantra, until his death, at 117.
jane - Dr. Liz - I know this is off subject and it is time for prayers - but can you comment on Tillikum - the whale who killed the trainer???
Dr. Liz - Jane, I haven't sensed Tillikum, so I don't have a comment on that situation.
jane - OK thanks
Dr. Liz - However, Jane, thank you for reminding me, that it's time for the prayers!
Dr. Liz - So ... all ... please choose a Name, or No Name, that works for you, to represent all that's sacred and holy and divine in your life, and key it into the Chatroom.
Dr. Liz - Sacred Universe
jane - Universe
Dot - Jehovah
Bonnie - Universe
Dr. Liz - OH ... my heavens .. before I forget ... Leslie says" many, many thanks to everyone for healing thoughts and prayers during my recent surgery. Now, almost 3 weeks post surgery, I feel great and am about back to normal. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind of the power of prayer and good intentions".
maggie - I pray that the Truth about what happened in my old neighborhood comes out very clearly and fully and tide turns so there is great to help me and bring justice
maggie - Rose Love
Dr. Liz - Sacred Universe, Jehovah, Universe, Rose Love, we call on you now. You are in us, and We are in You, and We Combine Together.
Dr. Liz - Infill us with your Power and Grace, your healing Light, your Truth.
Dr. Liz - Make it so, that we be radiators of your love.

jane - Me too Maggie - LOVE is the missing number (6) in my numerology chart. I don't believe that I know true love - I believe that I know compassion, but not true love - I think that LOVE is what I am supposed to learn in this lifetime.
maggie - Thank you Dr Liz and everyone
Dr. Liz - Bonnie, I love your prayer ... I feel to expand it ... may all present, have clear signs of guidance, for clarity in our life choices ... and may we all be blessed with loving beings in our lives, in grace and perfect ways, with harm to none!

Dr. Liz - Everyone, thank you for signing on tonight. Thank you for bringing your energy to this Chat'N'Pray.
jane - Dr. Liz - I went to the 7 minutes several times, but not consecutively - sometimes I think there is something wrong with me - I never FEEL anything energetically.
Dr. Liz - Dot, you are most welcome. I am sorry for your loss, and for that of Princess' 4 brothers and sisters.
maggie - Thank you good night..
Dr. Liz - Jane. do EFT on that ... "Even though I feel I never feel anything energetically, I thoroughly love and completely accept myself".
Dot - She was able to pass at home which is what she requested and is now at ppeace
Dr. Liz - Time to go ... thank you, all, and see you next time!
