Dee&Zoe&Phoebe - my girlfriend has had a bell's palsy condition since birth, she recently had a surgery to help inplant muscle and nerve into her face so she will be able to smile once it all gets working, she willbe going for biofeedback as soon as she stars to get a bit of movement

Andy - We kind of had that problem at my Mom's house till we decided everyone was welcome-no invitations extended-come when you want and don't expect anything but our company

Dr. Liz - John of God was in Atlanta this past weekend. I went.
Laura & Furry Kids - Who is Jon of God?
Andy - Who is John of God
Marge - (oops, I misspelled his name .... it is John
Dr. Liz - John of God is the English name for a Brazilian healer who is quite possibly the greatest healer in the Americas.
Andy - Yes I think I heard of him on TV or I read about him
Marge - (oops, or did I?)
Dr. Liz - He has been healing people in Brazil for 47 years.
Dr. Liz - He does spiritual and psychic surgery, invisible operations, and sometimes visible operations, via entities who incorporate into him (one at a time).
Andy - Did you witness any major healings
Dr. Liz - There were over 2,000 people there to see him on Sunday, the first day of the 3-day event.
Dr. Liz - Andy, there were piles of crutches, canes, and even wheelchairs, left behind by people who didn't need them any more.
Andy - You do not think any of it was staged-all real?
Marge - Wowwww, Liz!!!

Dr. Liz - And each day there were 2,000 more. He did two healings a day, and everyone was seen. So altogether in the 3-day event, he did over 12,000 healings.
Marge - no Andy ... that wouldn't be so ... you'll know this as you learn more about him
Dr. Liz – It really wasn’t set up for grand-standing. He could have, but he didn’t. There were three rooms set up. The first room had the 2,000 chairs set up. The second room was called the "current" room, also, "current room #1". Everyone moved in a line from the main room through the current room, to the third room.
Andy - My daughter is here with me also (Rebecca) and she says to ask him to heal my back!
Margie - that is the most wonderful thing to witness
Marge - SO amazing! (Andy, I've seen a video of him in Brazil ... and how people were healed by him)
Dr. Liz - In "current room #1" there were about 100 chairs. In them were volunteer meditators/pray-ers.
Dr. Liz - In the third room, there were again about 100 chairs, set up differently. This is where John of God sat, in a very simple chair, with one simple plant to his left, and one large Brazilian crystal to his right.
Laura & Furry Kids - Where was this, Liz?
Margie - power in numbers
Dr. Liz - In the third room, "current room #2", there were also volunteer pray-ers and meditators, and also, there were chairs for people who were experiencing invisible surgeries and operations.
Laura & Furry Kids - Oh, and what kind of crystal?
Dr. Liz - "Current
Dr. Liz - Ooops. The meditators/pray-ers in "current room #2" were there primarily to support John of God, the entities, and the event.
Andy - What kind of entities
Marge - Was that the room you were asked to be in Liz?
Dr. Liz - Laura, it was a milk white crystal about 2 feet in diameter.
Dee&Zoe&Phoebe - what was the plant for?
Dr. Liz - Marge, I ended up in current room #2!
Laura & Furry Kids - And where did you meet with him, I mean geographically?
Marge - Laura ..in Atlanta, Georgia,
Dr. Liz - The morning of the first day, Sunday, I was just "there", pretty much feeling like everyone else. I noticed that there was a Circle of Love prayer group made up of clergy, and I knew at some point I was going to be in it.
Laura & Furry Kids - Thanks, Marge.
Dr. Liz - And Sunday afternoon, all of a sudden, I found myself getting out of my chair and going to the podium and saying to the leader/facilitator, "I know how to say the Lord's Prayer in Aramaic."
Dr. Liz - The woman immediately took my hand and pulled me up on the stage and introduced me as someone who would say the Lord's Prayer in Aramaic.
Dr. Liz - And there I was, 2 seconds later, facing 2,000 people.
Marge - Oh Liz!

Andy - Do you speak Aramaic or just at that time

Dr. Liz - I've spoken to large groups before and I was very surprised that my heart started pounding so!!! But I figured, "Well, this is good, look how strongly my heart can pound!"
Marge - LOL, LOL
Dr. Liz - And I spoke a little about what it would have been like, to be with Christ, and that he spoke Aramaic, and invited people to imagine themselves in His Presence, listening to Him speak in His language, and say and feel ....

Dr. Liz - And then I recited the prayer.
Andy - In Aramaic?
Dee&Zoe&Phoebe - how awesome it must have been for those listening
Dr. Liz - Andy, yes. It was amazing. The energy in the room lifted. I could tell people were shaking with the power of it. Some started to cry.
Laura & Furry Kids - With every ounce of feeling in your heart, right?
Marge - oh Liz, that sent a chill up my spine!
Dr. Liz - Laura, yes. Very much so. I understand that prayer.
Laura & Furry Kids - I am so proud of you, Liz.

Dr. Liz - And then I finished and sat down again.

Marge - How incredibly wonderfully amazing!!!!
Andy - Did you speak the prayer in another language
Dr. Liz - And the following morning, I joined in the group of clergy. I just joined them. No one asked me any questions, I just instantly became a part of it. And just as instantly, found myself in John of God's personal current room, "current room #2". I ended up volunteered in prayer and meditation for much of the next two days. I loved it.
Dr. Liz - Andy, I spoke the prayer in Aramaic.
Marge - ( Andy ... Liz recited the prayer in Aramaic )
Dr. Liz - Again, interestingly, right after I just “became” one of the Clergy, I found myself again in front of 2,000 people, introducing myself. And out of my mouth came, "Blessings and Namaste. I am Reverend Doctor Elizabeth Severino, from the Church of the Healing Connection. We have an internet ministry which is world-wide, and a local ministry in Turnersville, NJ."
Laura & Furry Kids - Your vision became clearer in that moment.
Dr. Liz - The Church of the Healing Connection is my Church, which I do weddings and children’s naming ceremonies and house blessings and other sacerdotal services.
Andy - Dr. Liz what does Namaste mean
Dr. Liz - Laura, I have been getting clearer and clearer messages from the Divine that I am to consciously have a church or an assembly or a gathering and be a multi-faith or non-denominational pastor more actively than I have to date.

Dr. Liz - Andy, "namaste" is a Sanskrit word which means, "I honor that place in you, which, when you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, we are one."

Dr. Liz - Margie, I've had a few. I did services weekly for almost 7 years and then stopped. But recently, nothing regularly. I’m wondering if that may be about to change!

Dr. Liz - And people stopped me in the halls ... everyone wanted "my recording" of the Lord's prayer ... which I don’t have! LOL! I told some about a recording I love, but they all said they wanted my voice saying it. Interesting.

Dr. Liz - In answer to a question earlier, there wasn't an opportunity for grandstanding with the healings, since each person flowed by John of God very discreetly and very quietly in a secluded room where most people have their eyes closed. People just got healed. People would walk into the one room in wheelchairs or with canes or with difficulty, and walk out of the other room without their canes or wheelchairs or walk more easily. Everyone was touched by the spiritual energy of the entity(-ies) working through John of God.
Dr. Liz - Laura, not yet! LOL!

Dr. Liz - When I first engaged eyes with the entity, this was on the morning of the first day before I stood up and offered the Aramaic of the Lord's prayer ...

Dr. Liz - I felt a strong flow of joyful recognition. I had the sense that the entity recognized me instantly as someone who loves doing God's work.

Dr. Liz - And when I went to sit down to receive a "blessing", which was John of God's "prescription" for me, I felt bubbly and blissfully happy, delighted, joyful, almost giggling. I knew it was the entity's energy intermingling with mine.

Does it know that I'm a 10-year student of Ron Roth, who was very closely aligned with John of God for a few years? That I’ve called on John of God and his entities during healing sessions for others? Does it know I went to see Sai Baba, and that I've been with the Amma's, and have received Bhagavan's and Sri Amma's blessing? What does the entity see?"

Dr. Liz - Laura, that's the name given to a spirit who was once in a living body and who has crossed over.

Dr. Liz - Laura, spokespersons there said there are 33 entities who take over John of God's body. In other places I’ve read that the number of entities who help him is as high as 60. They do so at God's will, and they perform the healings through John of God's body. John of God is not moving his body when an entity is inside him, the entity is.

Dr. Liz - DZP, it feels to me that there is an understanding that whenever John of God the man is to be present in a healing capacity, that the entities will be present, too, and will do whatever healing work is necessary through him.

Dr. Liz - RT, the Chinese are frequently extremely inhumane in the way they slaughter animals for food.

Dr. Liz - There was a Chinese restaurant here in the U.S. not too far from me, that was shut down because it was serving 'cat' in some of its meals ... it was calling the flesh "chicken" but someone knew it wasn't and reported them.
RosieTara - What can one do....if at all...
Dee&Zoe&Phoebe - we can say a prayer here, that all animals inhumanely killed , that they are rewarded by God with swift crossings
Marge - RT ... I put up with this kind of talk of sending horses to slaughter for food. Unfortunately Canada is considered a horse eating country because of one province ... Quebec ... as well as France and Belgium eat horse meat.
Dr. Liz - One can do the Buddhist practice of tonglen.
Summerz - I don't eat any animals at all.......

Dee&Zoe&Phoebe - it is so upsetting that people do not consider animals and plants their equals on this earth, all to be treated equally
RosieTara - they stayed in a Hotel....they want to buy our business
RosieTara - What is that, Liz
Dr. Liz - In Tonglen, one first breaths in the specific situation, for example, RT, in your case, people whom you know or have been in contact with, who slaughter and eat dogs. And then, breathe out, people who are compassionate towards dogs. And then breathe in all Chinese, who slaughter and eat dogs. And then breathe out, all Chinese who are compassionate towards dogs. And then breathe in, all peoples everywhere, who eat dogs, or even animals, and breathe out, all people everywhere, who are compassionate towards dogs, or animals. Sandwich this 3-part process in between at least 5 minutes of meditation, and give each of the three phases, 5 minutes, too, so you have a 25 minute meditation altogether.
Dee&Zoe&Phoebe - I must go now and care for Sweetie- Liz, the doc's orders were warm compress, but in light of what yousaid he feels, shoul di do cool compress?
Marge - I agree Dee.
Dr. Liz - 5 minutes of general meditation first; then 5 minutes of the first phase, 5 minutes of the second phase, 5 minutes of the third phase, and 5 minutes of general meditation.
