margaret - the session was so great Marge. Everything Dr. Liz told me was just incredible and I believe it let me know exactly what was ailing my horse at the time
Marge - Sara ... re your shoulder ... have you considered having a SCIO session with Liz? It's done wonders for me (including my right shoulder injury)

margaret - I was so devastated when he died, completely unexpected but when I think back to the things she said, I truly believe his personality came through to her

Marge - margaret ... it's been 4 years since my beloved horse crossed over, .. and every once in a while I have a session with Liz to communicate with him and my cat on the other side. I still miss them, but it gives me great peace and comfort to be able to communicate with them from the other side.

margaret - I think that would be a great thing for me because I feel very bad about how he died and I had him euthanized because he was in severe pain but I don't know if he was ready to go.

Marge - One of the things I'd been complaining about to Liz was a burning sensation in my mid-back area ... day after day ... I'd have to lay down at times in the middle of the day to give me some relief

Marge - SCIO is incredible ...AND works on MANY things at the same time!!! ... and obviously worked on that part of my body (or whatever was causing the discomfort) ... and suddenly, no more burning pain !! ... it's been at least 3-4 weeks since I've had any discomfort there.

Marge - Garfila ... I'm really excited about the topic tonight! Last week I got bumped off the chat because of my service provider, and I was so upset thinking I'd missed the topic ... but here it is tonight instead! wow!
Sara - Liz is doing SCIO on my newfy about every 2 weeks - when my other Newfy crossed (SHE"S BACK!!!!) he got so depressed he gave up living. Thank god for Liz and her many talents.

Dr. Liz - Geri, thank you. That's been happening more and more with people, I'm learning. That people are with an animal in need and they "feel my presence." I figure it's the Universe finding ways of spreading the healing energy out, to help, in a way and form that may be familiar to the persons receiving it. I love feeling use-full, so for me, it’s a delight to hear of such stories!

Marge - SCIO has also helped me with my 'stress' related emotions ... I was always worried! It's given me SO much help, that sometimes I forget how I used to be!!! LOL

Dr. Liz - Sara, it depends. If it is all of the light, with no agenda other than pure service, if it's like prayer, especially for one in a dire situation, there is an implicit permission. I believe that's why I am frequently "rerouted" while driving and end up being at or near accident scenes, because the Universe knows I will instantly pray for all involved ...
Dr. Liz - Sara, I felt a rush of Grace when I read your words, "my soul dog is back and it is wonderful that her sweet brother is recovering" ... :)
Sara - She's my baby and Liz has been helping us talk to her since we had to put her down last June - I think she's back to eat real food

Sara - ohmigosh Liz I totally forgot about intercessory prayer - I get it!
RosieTara - Liz...that is very, very powerful and wonderful
Dr. Liz - There are many kinds of prayer. Perhaps the most well-known form of prayer, is the prayer of supplication, where we are asking for something.
Sara - I'm good at that!
Dr. Liz - Most frequently but not always, a prayer of supplication asks for the 'something', whatever it is, for the one pray-ing.

Marge - Sara, LOL .. me too
Dr. Liz - An intercessory prayer, is a prayer made selflessly on behalf of another person, animal, or situation.
Dr. Liz - A less-well-known prayer form, one that I use a lot in healing work, is the prayer of decree.
Marge - Liz .. as we do on this chat as we pray?
Dr. Liz - Marge, we use all three here ... intercessory prayers, prayers of supplication, and also, prayers of decree.
Marge - (meaning, intercessory prayer on these chat sessions?)
Marge - ok
Sara - not familiar with the prayers of decree - what is it?
Dr. Liz - An example of a prayer of decree, that I use a lot at accident scenes, is, "Blood impurities OUT! Bleeding, STOP! Healing, START!"
Marge - oh, feels powerful!!!
Dr. Liz - Sometimes I hang around to see the surprised look on the EMT squad's faces as to why someone bleeding suddenly stopped bleeding, but mostly, I just drive on.
RosieTara - Does that work.Liz?
Sara - do you physically feel something before the universe will listen?
RosieTara - Do you think it or say it , Liz?
Dr. Liz - RT, prayers of decree work when several conditions are met. Firstly, one must be completely out of ego in the moment of making the prayer declaration.
Dr. Liz - RT, sometimes I "just" think it, sometimes I say it out loud.
RosieTara - Thank You, Liz...I understand
Sara - "out of ego"?
Dr. Liz - Secondly, one must be completely connected to the infinite Divine field in which we all live and move and have our beings.
Geri - as if to do selflessly?
Sara - (I am learning SO much tonite!)
Dr. Liz - Thirdly, one must realize and embrace that one has the power and authority to issue such a prayer, and to issue the prayer from the knowing that it will be answered.
Garfila - yes
Dr. Liz - Geri, precisely.
Geri - wow! ok
Marge - (Sara, me too!)
Dr. Liz - To reach these states, the state of being completely out of any ego involvement; the state of being completely connected to the infinite Divine field; and the state of knowing one has the power and authority to issue such a prayer, happens differently for different people.
Garfila - do we pray to get there?
Garfila - to theses states?
Dr. Liz - For me, it took seeing someone else do it, and seeing HOW that person did it; and then being reminded that this is how the master healer Jesus Christ healed, and is also how great Qi Gong healers and Chinese doctors heal, by prayers of decree.
Geri - why would it happen differently to people-is it because of different levels of intellect ? or different connctions to the Universe?
RosieTara - I believe the hardest part might be "to get out of the ego", or?
Dr. Liz - It also, for me, took establishing a regular and diligent daily spiritual practice.
Marge - RT .. I would guess that would be difficult for many.
Geri - i was just thinking the same thing
Garfila - Liz-that makes sense
Marge - Liz .. I would think that would be a prerequisite for everyone doing healing?
Dr. Liz - Geri, I feel it may be because of different states. When a Mother cries to G-d, "Heal my child!", and does so with total passion, congruence and selflessness, and in total belief that G-d can and will listen to her prayer, perhaps something that mother may only do this once .... however, the conditions are met.
RosieTara - I think so , too, Marge
Geri - ok
Dr. Liz - And the strong likelihood is that the child will indeed heal, and miraculously.
Dr. Liz - Or at least, what may appear to be 'miraculously.' Miracles happen all around us multiple times a day, we just see some more readily than others.
Geri - pure intent and pure passion for wanting the healing for positive reasons
Dr. Liz - Geri, precisely.
Marge - Liz, what a beautiful way you put it
Geri - yes miracles abound in everyday life
Sara - but certainly most ppl have profound intention to heal their loved ones, and still it doesnt happen for many - I cant believe that it's not pure - why doesnt it work?
Dr. Liz - The issue of "power" and "authority" was one I didn't really understand until a while ago.
RosieTara - Liz, yes....your prayers worked for me....our company is SOLD.....yesterday...thank you
Dr. Liz - Sara, most likely because of doubt.

Dr. Liz - And what I did for RT, the way I prayed, and how I prayed, is, I held in my awareness all the times businesses had been sold successfully, with both parties at least satisfied, and while holding that resonance, put RT's situation into the mix, and then while holding that mix, held the entire mix in the energy of the Divine field, the field of G-d consciousness.

Dr. Liz - So when I pray for animals, intercessory prayer for an animal or for a situation involving an animal, I hold the resonance of the knowing, the absolute knowing, of resolution energy on that situation; and then I mix into that, the specific situation; and all the while, I hold the Universal field of the G-d energy.
RosieTara - Liz, and the beauty is ...all participants had to sacrifice something , but we are all happy now

Dr. Liz - An interesting thing I've observed with this is, when you do this, it becomes a prayer of decree.
Dr. Liz - RT, yes, I found myself mixing the energy of 'negotiation' and ‘compromise’ into your situation, so what you are saying, is supported by the energetics I found myself using.

RosieTara - Simply amazing....
Dr. Liz - So firstly, when I pray for an animal, I fill myself with the knowing of previous healings of previous animals for this situation or situations similar to this one.
Sara - Garfila, when Emma crossed, the lab from the hospital found her in spirit and the two of them ran around like maddogs for months! Your Loco is NOT alone
Dr. Liz - And I keep 'working' that energy until any shred of doubt is completely gone.
Dr. Liz - Garfila, the animals never cross alone.

Sara - thats where I get stuck - how do you "work the energy"?

Dr. Liz - Sara, one has to elevate one's self to a higher level of resonance. There are many proven ways to do that, meditation and prayer, sacred chanting, sacred ritual, all work. What they all have in common, is getting beyond the energy of the thinking mind.

Geri - Dakota has had a limp for almost a year now...regular vet aptts and then chiropractors and yes an ultrasound have not been able to reveal any conclusive evidence to his lameness
Geri - now there is talk of an MRI and or a biopsy of the leg

Sara - try some enzyme therapy like wobezyme or neprinol or myristaid - takes the pain and inflammation away
Dr. Liz - Geri, I would much prefer you do something non-invasive, like a SCIO session first.
jolight - MRI's are much more specific, and the results "may" show that a biopsy is not necessary

Dr. Liz - RT, for some time now I have mourned not having Tanuka with me to teach my classes. And Sunday and Monday, this feeling was very strong, and Tanuka came to me and said he would find a dog coming to the class, to work through. Tuesday, the delightful organizer of this class said her dog came to her and said he wanted to come to the class. Today, I met the dog, and he's definitely the one Tanuka has spoken to! So Tanuka will work through Phoenix, for the class. I feel so blessed!
