Maggie - Hi how are you??
Dr. Liz - Hi, Maggie!
Dr. Liz - I'm anticipating enjoying a wonderful cup of green tea, which is brewing now, as I type this. How are you?
Maggie - Better than ever, Steve and I are both retired now and really enjoying it! You certainly are keeping busy.
Dr. Liz - LOL! I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to retire ...
Maggie - I stay up to date on Facebook
Maggie - ahh but you so love what you do, it wouldn't be retirement anyway
Dr. Liz - I'm enjoying Facebook although I'm pretty much a newbie at it. What have you learned about how to use it or enjoy it?
Dr. Liz - Maggie, I do love what I do. :)
Maggie - Well Steve has found a whole new family actually

RosieTara - Hi everybody !
Dr. Liz - Really! A "whole new family"? Pray tell ... what does that mean?
Dr. Liz - Through Facebook?
Dr. Liz - Hi, RT!
Maggie - Yes His mon's second husband adopted him at 3 and he never knew his biological father until last month when his son found Steve on Facebook
RosieTara - Might change the colour...even it is Friday :)))
Maggie - He has two brothers and a sister as well

Dr. Liz - Maggie, what a beautiful story!!!
Dee & "kids" - Hi everyone!
Maggie - yea its been really great
Dr. Liz - Hi, Dee!
Dr. Liz - Have they met in person?
RosieTara - logged on. - from . using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 on Thu Oct 15 9:16pm ET)
Dr. Liz - Nice color, RT, it works well with the colors already here ... :)
RosieTara - What about this colour...!!!
Maggie - Yes several times now they have always lived very close ( W. Deptford) but we never knew
RosieTara - Do I look unfamiliar ?
Dr. Liz - Wow, Maggie, that's a "social networking software at its best" story!!!
RosieTara - Hi DEE
Dr. Liz - RT, in purple instead of green? A bit, yes! LOL LOL LOL
Maggie - I agree, everyone that hears about is amazed
RosieTara - :)))), Liz !
Dee & "kids" - how is everyone tonight?
Dee & "kids" - We had snow today!!!!
Dr. Liz - I'm sipping a freshly-brewed cup of green tea, the delicious steam from which has just fogged my glasses so I'm momentarily unable to see what I'm typing.
Dr. Liz - SNOW???????
RosieTara - Dee, it is a hot morning here...will be a hot day !
Dr. Liz - Dee, you're only an hour or so north of me ... SNOW?????
RosieTara - It is snowing already in Germany !! In October ....unbelievable !
Dr. Liz - Snow in New Jersey in October ... is that a first, Dee?
Dee & "kids" - yep - nothing stuck on the ground but we had flakes!
Dr. Liz - RT, what about Germany ... where it's already snowed ... is that unusual for the area where it snowed?
Dee & "kids" - Not sure if it was a first, but def. a surprise!!
Maggie - Where is that, Dee?
Dee & "kids" - New Jersey - near the top of the state
Dr. Liz - I had my winter parka on today for the first time this season .. it was very raw and very cold and very wet here, however, we experienced rain, not snow.
RosieTara - What is going on on planet Earth.....summer in spring and winter in autunm....
Maggie - I should check on my friends in Wayne then??
Dr. Liz - RT, the planet has shifted on its axis ... it's bound to bring some changes ...
RosieTara - Liz...yes...very much so... normally not before Christmas
Dee & "kids" - Maggie- Wayne prob had what I had...Im right next to them
Dr. Liz - What's normal here is perhaps one or two snowfalls before Christmas, and then most of the snow after ...
Maggie - Ok
RosieTara - We have NEVER snow here in Noosa...:(((
Dr. Liz - I have some news. I took a class in Pet First Aid from the American Red Cross yesterday. I LOVED it.
Dee & "kids" - how wonderful Dr lIz
RosieTara - Mouth to mouth with doggies????
Maggie - i was going to ask you about that
Dr. Liz - RT, yes! Doggies and kitties!
Maggie - can anyone sign up for that??
Dr. Liz - Maggie, as far as I know, yes.
Dee & "kids" - cool!
RosieTara - How does it feel. Liz :))
Maggie - I'll look into that, thanks
Dr. Liz - The mix last night was me (the only animal communicator), vet techs, pet sitting service owners, and pet lay people.
Dr. Liz - Oh, a pet walking service person, too.
RosieTara - Something I should introduce to our local RSPCA....
Maggie - Its a fabulous idea
Dr. Liz - RT, there is an International Red Cross office in almost every country. I'm sure there's one in Noosa Waters. Check it out. They have qualified instructors who teach the class, and certify the attendees.
RosieTara - I will, Liz ! Sounds very challenging !
Dr. Liz - The curriculum is very mature, which means, they've definitely worked the bugs out of it. Very tight presentation. A GREAT deal of information in a very short space of time ... and hands-on practicum within the first 15 minutes, which I didn't expect, I thought there would be more lecture first and then hands-on ... I loved it!
Dr. Liz - It's a mix of spoken material, video material, written material, demonstrated material, and practicum.
Dr. Liz - Four hours, no break.
RosieTara - Sounds absolutely GREAT !
RosieTara - Like Uni...:)
Dr. Liz - They call it "The ABC's of Pet CPR".
Maggie - Was it local?
Dee & "kids" - did they have live animlas there?
Dr. Liz - Which is a little confusing at first if you've never taken a CPR class for humans, which I haven't.
Dr. Liz - Maggie, this one was taught at Clearview Regional High School in the Library. They'll be teaching it again there in April of 2010.
Maggie - that close enough for me
Dr. Liz - Dee, they had "stuffed" animals of various sizes, dogs and cats, special "stuffed" animals with nose holes and lungs and veins that pulsed or didn't pulse.
Dr. Liz - The range was from a "dog" or "cat" of about 15 to 20 pounds up to a "dog" of about 70 pounds.
RosieTara - wow !
Dr. Liz - The reason I felt it was a bit confusing at first is that when they say "The ABC's of Pet CPR" I thought they meant that. They don't.
Dr. Liz - They mean the "ABC"s of emergency pet first aid, which includes CPR.
Dee & "kids" - ahh ha
Dr. Liz - The "A" is for Airway ... the first thing you do in any emergency with a cat, dog, horse, or human, any animal, is check the airway to see if its obstructed or not.
RosieTara - What are the main differences to human CPR ? Beside the obvious ones...
Dr. Liz - The "B" is for breathing. The second thing you do is check for breathing, and you do that my listening, and feeling or watching the lungs.
Dr. Liz - The third thing you do is Circulation, the "C", which means, check for a pulse.
Dr. Liz - RT, the main differences are the obvious ones. Where and how you place your mouth in the animal's face, how you carry the animal, and where you position yourself relative to the claws and/or teeth.
Dr. Liz - It is particularly important with an animal to first determine if its conscious or unconscious. If it's unconscious, of course you've got to work faster, but you're also less at risk.
Maggie - Sounds like it was very well presented
Dee & "kids" - sounds like you got a wealth of information
Dr. Liz - Maggie, it was. I felt I had so lucked out. The person who they brought in to teach it has been teaching it for 15 years.
RosieTara - Thanks, Liz...that's what crossed my mind ...
Dr. Liz - Dee, it was jam-packed with information. It probably ought to be an 8-hour or even a 2-day class.
Dr. Liz - They taught a lot more ... accidents, broken limbs bones exposed, broken limbs bones not exposed, snake bites, drowning, choking , diarrhea and the various types, seizures, vomiting, bloat, hypothermia, dehydration ...
Dr. Liz - Carrying pets of various sizes and varying conditions ... working alone, working in pairs ... it was so comprehensive and VERY fast-paced ... The teacher was totally no-nonsense ..
RosieTara - that's veterinary science :)
Dr. Liz - He must have said three dozen times, "A pet for many people is like a family member, in some cases, they mean even more. Realize how precious they are. Pay atention and learn. YOU can save a life."
Maggie - I'm so glad to see that they are doing things like this now, our pets health was an afterthought for so many years
Dr. Liz - Maggie, he wasn't a vet. He works for the airlines!!!
RosieTara - So right, Maggie !
Dr. Liz - He just ALSO works for the Red Cross!
Maggie - I'm not surprised Liz
Dr. Liz - Maggie, pet's health is still lower than human health, even in this class. He stressed we CANNOT call "911" for help in a pet emergency, UNLESS human life is also at risk.
RosieTara - Amazing !!!
Maggie - It's a start though
Dr. Liz - RT, in the U.S. anc Canada, don't know about down under, "911" is a 3-digit number to dial for emergency police, fire, or ambulance help.
Dr. Liz - Maggie, it is
RosieTara - Here in Australia the RSPCA is very well organized for pet emergencies
Dr. Liz - Maggie, it is! This class was originated in Los Angeles County, in California, U.S.A., no surprise that the influence would come from there!
Maggie - We can get them an "811"
RosieTara - I know, Liz....we have her a number for pet emergencies, too
Dr. Liz - There IS a Pet Poison Control Number ... it's for Pet Poison emergencies ...
RosieTara - Maggie, LOL
Dr. Liz - It's 1-800-548-2424.
Maggie - I know that, a friend's dog ate an ant trap in her camper
Dr. Liz - Maggie, that's a great idea!!!
Maggie - I think so
Dr. Liz - Maggie, ouch, what happened?
RosieTara - Ambulance for Pets is in Australia 1300 852 188
Maggie - They had her give hin peroxide and vomit and then they start a series of shots
Dr. Liz - I just dialed "811" here. I got a response saying, "thank you for calling New Jersey One-Call. All calls are being recorded." I hung up because I don't know what I just reached!!!
Maggie - Leave it to you!!!
RosieTara - LOL LOL , Liz
Dr. Liz - Oh, "811" here is "Call before you dig".
Maggie - they probably have caller id and they will call you back!!
RosieTara - I am sure they will, Liz...:)))
Dr. Liz - Meaning, call that number before you dig up any ground because you might hit gas lines, power lines, sewer lines, etc.
Maggie - ok so the animals get dropped down to 711, that's luckier anyway
Dr. Liz - Well, if they do, I'll surely let you know!!!
Dr. Liz - So, who's going to dial "711" ???? LOL LOL LOL
RosieTara - Yes, please !!
Maggie - thats prob gamblers anonymous
Dr. Liz - Maggie, LOL LOL LOL LOL
RosieTara - :)))
Dr. Liz - "711" is New Jersey Relay Operator.
Dr. Liz - I think I might be getting myself in some trouble here ... LOL LOL LOL
Dr. Liz - Yep, just dialed it.
Maggie - you better stop, we can use 922
RosieTara - Liz.....:))) you better stop now :)
Dr. Liz - Maggie ... LOL
RosieTara - Let's go for alucky number...888
Dr. Liz - I remember 711 now!!! It's the number to use when you want to relay a call to a Teletype machine! OMG, that has been around for DECADES!!!!!
Dr. Liz - I had no idea it was still in use ...
Maggie - really? never knew that
Dr. Liz - MANY years ago I used that number while working at my summer job when I was in college, because that was the way we sent lumber orders to Canada!
Dr. Liz - Yep, I worked for Lumbermans Merchandising Corporation then, helping to route train cars of lumber from the forests and mills in the U .S. and Canada to their yard or fabrication destinations.
Dr. Liz - Wow, we've chatted up our topic agenda time ... it's been fun though ... did anyone miss talking about the topic? Just curious ...
Maggie - sorry
Dr. Liz - The free-form nature of it tonight was delightful ... or maybe we just changed the topic to Pet First Aid instead ...
Dr. Liz - Maggie, hey, no apology necessary, for sure!!!
Maggie - we certainly did that
RosieTara - We have a major storm building up....scary
Dr. Liz - Well, let's spend a few minutes on the agenda topic anyway ...
RosieTara - too hot for October !!
Dr. Liz - The agenda topic was, "highly spiritual or totally clueless ...which is it, to believe that ultimately everything is good, whether we know it in that moment, or not?
Dr. Liz - Anyone have a comment on that?

RosieTara - Hi adn28
Dr. Liz - "611" gets you to the telephone repair line ... it's used to report trouble with a phone service. Gee, maybe I oughta be dropping this now ... LOL
Dr. Liz - RT, probably has a lot to do with that, yes.
Dr. Liz - So now we know 611, 711, 811, and 911.
RosieTara - LOL !!!!
Dr. Liz - It WOULD be great to have a pet emergency number tho ...
Maggie - You're being ornery now
Dr. Liz - Maggie, I like the idea. :) :) :)
Dr. Liz - Of having a pet emegency number. I'm starting to feel they're all in use now ... the "digit" -1-1 numbers.
Dr. Liz - 011 is one I already know, it gets you an international operator.
RosieTara - What about 111 ?
Maggie - I like the idea too but I don't think you can have a *11 number
Maggie - 211 is in use
Dr. Liz - I guess for me, regarding our topic, I've always wondered about people who are completely convinced that EVERYTHING is for only good. Maybe because I've personally had resistance to that thought. It felt like everything COULDN'T ALWAYS be good. War, famine, death, disease, etc.
Dr. Liz - Maggie ... did you dial it?
Maggie - Community resource specialist
Dr. Liz - And yet, maybe if we truly believe that EVERYTHING happens for good, then, more good starts to happen in an obvious way in our lives??? What do you think?
Dr. Liz - What is a community resource specialist?
Dr. Liz - Dee, you still there?
Maggie - didn't stay on the phone long enough to find out!!
RosieTara - It would be wonderful and life would be a lot easier!
Dr. Liz - Maggie, that's what I did with 811!!!!!
RosieTara - Everything happens for a reason.....maybe if we say everything happenes for a GOOD reason the energy would change ,toon
Dr. Liz - Well, I've been using a process that seems to be working to help me truly get to the point where I believe that everything is happening for good ... it's brought me to an awareness that is' the feeling that is to be recognized, without judgement of the goodness or badness of a situation.
Dr. Liz - RT, yes.
Dr. Liz - I've been aware of the need ... or the opportunity ... to think that way for such a long time. I've just only been able to manage to do it consistently very recently.
Maggie - what is your process?
RosieTara - But how can i say for example ...my grandson is very sick and that is GOOD
Maggie - thats a tuff one
RosieTara - Nicholas is very sick at the moment.....where is the goodness in it ?
Dr. Liz - RT, back it up. I know that won't make sense until it does. So here goes with my explanation of what I've figured out how to do in the past week or so ...
Dr. Liz - The thought arises wtihin you, that Nicholas is very sick. What is your feeling?
Maggie - fear, anger
RosieTara - I am close to tears and upset that I cannot help because he is since two weeks in London
Dr. Liz - RT, what is your feeling? When you say, "close to tears" , what is your feeling?
RosieTara - 24 hours flight...you know...:(
RosieTara - Maggie is right...fear...anger....
Dr. Liz - Okay. Let's say you're feeling FEAR.
Dr. Liz - Just to choose one.
RosieTara - and...I feel somehow trapped in being here and cannot get to him
Dr. Liz - When you fully feel the fear, and don't go to the mental conversation of why you're feeling the fear ... grandson is sick, London is a 24 hour flight, etc. etc. ... what happens?
RosieTara - my blood pressure goes up up up
Dr. Liz - Well, BREATHE and feel the FEAR!!!!
RosieTara - it helps....
Dr. Liz - I have come to understand that we're here to FEEL what we feel, and to FEEL that what we FEEL is good, whatever it is ... to REJOICE that we have FELT it, and then to LET IT GO. When we do that, we find ourselves very naturally in the domain that everything is happening for the highest good, whether we know it or not.
Maggie - so experience the feeling but don't give it the power to take control? How??
Dr. Liz - So in other words, we are to FEEL the emotions fully, label them, and let them go ... along with reintroducing the knowing that it is all happening for the highest good somehow.
Dr. Liz - The process I've found shows us how to do that ... and amazing things DO start happening... I'm going to send out an email about it hopefully sometime over the weekend ... I th ink you're both on my email list but if you're not be sure to get on it so you'll get that email ...
RosieTara - a friend taught me to ask the question : hOW DOES IT GET BETTER THAN THIS ? without waiting for amn answer,..
Dr. Liz - Maggie, yes! When we fully experience and name an emotion, it leaves us ... do it ... you'll see ...
Maggie - i am and this couldn't come to me at a better time.
Dr. Liz - RT, that's a great question ...
Dr. Liz - Oh, Maggie, I'm so happy to read that ...
Dr. Liz - Oh, My, we're SO past doing the healing prayers ... Let me do the quickie version ...
Dr. Liz - Healing Masters of All Space and Time, attend to those in the Basket of Blessings NOW, in Grace and Pefect Ways, with HARM to NONE! And it is so!!!!
RosieTara - and here comes my father's wisdom again.....IF YOU KNOW AN ENEMY IT IS NO ENEMY ANYMORE ....
Dr. Liz - Amen!!!
Dr. Liz - RT, precisely. Feeling an emotion fully, is knowing it.
Maggie - Amen
RosieTara - Amen
Maggie - Sometimes it is tough to name that emotiion though
RosieTara - Thanks Liz !!!
RosieTara - Could we just send Prayers Energy to Nicholas ?
RosieTara - That is true Maggie
Dr. Liz - Maggie, I think that can be tough, too.
Maggie - I have a lot of stuff on my plate and I can't pinpoint how I feel about a lot of it.
Dee & "kids" - Amen
Dr. Liz - RT, yes! We blanket little Nicholas, Grandson of RT, with the golden light of the Divine Healing Power ... we declare that his health care staff be enlightened now as to his correct and perfect care, bringing him to vibrant health ... and that the appropriate gentle support for that unfolding present in grace and perfect ways. And it is so.
RosieTara - DEE !!!! where have you been ?
Dee & "kids" - My sister called and I had to talk to her...Im assuming I missed much : (
Dr. Liz - Dee, I just checked the chat transcript to see when you dropped out ... missed you!!! Glad to see you
Dee & "kids" - sorry I got called away
RosieTara - Love you for that, Liz ! Thank you !
Dr. Liz - Dee, I'll see if I can copy it and email it to you ... the chatroom software is VERY old and I'm finding none of the new word processors, etc., are allowing me to load and edit it ... :( :( :( Which is why the Chat transcripts haven't been posted for almost a year ... :( :( :( I can't get them from here to the web-site the way I used to ...
Dee & "kids" - did anyone see Good Morning America today?? The story about he woman who survived swine flu??
Dr. Liz - So I'll see if I can email it to you ... If not, I'll give you the password and the instructions to find the transcript yourself on my web-site ...
Dr. Liz - Dee, what was revealed in that story?
Dee & "kids" - thank you Dr lIz- appreciate it much
Dr. Liz - I mean in the chatroom itself ...
Dee & "kids" - a pregnant woman got swine flu and delivered the baby, then was induced into a coma whenre she was ventilated for almost 2 month
Maggie - Good night all, have to go to bed now! Thanks for your wonderful insight Liz, I always leave here clearer than I came in!!
Dr. Liz - ... drum roll ... and ... ???
RosieTara - I try to see the GOOD in that, Liz
Dr. Liz - Maggie, thank you! Wonderful to see you again! Pleasant dreams!
Maggie - logged off. - from . using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; FBSMTWB; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.1) on Thu Oct 15 10:31pm ET)
RosieTara - Good night, Maggiee
Dee & "kids" - shes fine now, recovering and finally spending time with her new baby...but I am sure the AWPT prayed for her.....
Dr. Liz - Dee, yes.
Dee & "kids" - A woman who you helped last year with her cat, I befriended her outside this chat...she I am sure put her into the Basket...and she had me send reiki to her daily
Dee & "kids" - she almpst didnt survive
Dr. Liz - Yes, the woman was in the Basket.
Dee & "kids" - she is now telling people, pregnant esp. to get the vaccine
Dr. Liz - How did the vaccine help? From what I'm reading, its a potentially dangerous vaccine.
Dee & "kids" - She never got it, but supposedly it can prevent what she went thru...Im not informed about the pros/cons of the vaccine myself
RosieTara - I am very cautious , too...even everybody tells us to get it
Dee & "kids" - I myself am not big on vaccines, but this woman, who claimed she rarely got sick, almost lost her life
Dr. Liz - A friend of mine in Canada who is a researcher, says it can cause sterility in unborn fetuses ... which is something that won't be known if its ever known for 15 or 20 years ... but could certainly be part of population control efforts ...
Dee & "kids" - Im sure that her doc, who first diagnosed her with bronchitis (i think) got her started on proper treatment ~ things might have been different
Dr. Liz - Almost 20% of students entering colleges now in the U.S. and Canada are already sterile because of a number of allopathic drugs routinely prescribed ...
Dee & "kids" - wow that is scary Dr Liz
RosieTara - That is scary
Dr. Liz - So it could be 15 or 20 years before a mother taking the vaccine would know that having taken the vaccine may have caused her child's sterility ... if the information ever came out at all ...
Dr. Liz - I can't remember how long it was before thalidomide was discovered as the cause of birth defects ... it was a morning sickness drug for pregnant women ...
RosieTara - never thought about that...amazing facts
Dee & "kids" - makes you think
Dr. Liz - So pregnant women with morning sickness were encouraged to take it ... and if they did, they sometimes gave birth to deformed babies ...
Dee & "kids" - well, I have work to do...Dr Liz if you can email me this chat ~ I would love it!!!
Dee & "kids" - can I get a hint as to what the topic was????
RosieTara - terrible
Dr. Liz - OK .. Thanks to all for joining in ... loves and hugs to al ...
Dee & "kids" - xoxo
RosieTara - I have to go , too Thanks, liz ...you have been agreat helper ...again !!
