Elizabeth - I've also been noticing that what might be most helpful, is the daily experience of Gratitude, not necessarily just reading about it ...

Elizabeth - So I created a Gratitude Journal and put it on my web-site. It's free.  Anyone can use it.
Laura & Furry Kids - Very true, I just started my gratitude journal again four days ago.
Marge - AND, it is FANTASTIC!!!

Elizabeth - Marge was one of the people I asked to prototype it ... Marge, would you share your experiences with using the On-Line Gratitude Journal?

Marge - ... I'd been thinking of things I was grateful for, and wondering where/what to record them on> then Liz came up with this incredible idea ...
Elizabeth - I wanted something that I could do that would put me in the energy of Gratitude instantly and deeply ... and a Gratitude Journal felt to be the way ...
Marge - so, I started with 5 things a night, and now the journal has room for 10 items, and I've had no problem coming up with 10!

Elizabeth - <grin> I didn't know how to do the code for 10 items at first, so the prototype I emailed Marge the link for and asked her to test, had only 5 items. LOL!

Marge - ... and what I love is that even if I've had a bad day, at the end of the day I can turn my down and out thoughts to 'gratitude', and sure makes it easier to have a peaceful sleep

Elizabeth - What's interesting is, Marge and I both simultaneously and independently came up with the idea of doing the Journal as part of our ending of the day ... the other person I asked to test the prototype code is doing the same thing ... VERY coooool!

Marge - ... and what I REALLY LOVE about the journal, is that I type it in, instead of just reading like Liz said and trying to remember them, .... I then print off the copy with it's gorgeous picture and affirmations on top, and there I have my "Gratitude Journal" .... and Liz, do you want to tell them the other good part >> about how you and I both started keeping them?

Elizabeth - Well ... my original idea was to feel them, write them into the Web Journal Page, print them out, and then 3-hole punch them and put them in a 3-ring binder ...

Elizabeth - But I found I couldn't do that. I also found I couldn't put them with the newest on the bottom ... I found myself wanting to print out the current day's Gratitude Display Page, and then put it on TOP of the others I had printed out ... I was amazed at how powerful the upwelling of the feeling, the energy was, of "adding even more gratitude" to the growing PILE of things to be grateful for ...
Elizabeth - It's totally awesome ... the pile starts to have an energy of its own, same way the Gratitude Page on the web-site does ... I prayed over it, and surrounded it with amazing Light for anyone who uses it ...but ... <grin> I didn't expect that I would feel it, too ... LOL!!! That is just TOOOO funny, isn't it! LOL!!!!

Elizabeth - So I have this incredible pile of Gratitude Pages ... beautiful, beautiful ...
Marge - RT ... it's truly incredible! It really, really does! I had a really bad day yesterday, and thought I'd have to force myself to find anything to be grateful for, but when I sat down at my computer, ... I had to really focus.. and I came up with 10 just like that! It changed my negative feeling before going to bed.
Elizabeth - And I may eventually find a folder to put them in, most recent on top, but for right now, they’re on my work table in their own space … just glowing nicely with Gratitude  ... Marge, I think you said you have a pink folder that you're using, yes?

Elizabeth - Laura, that was what gave me the idea ... experiencing the gogratitude site was good .. but it was reading it ... not doing or really experiencing it ... and I felt to DO it ... and DO it in a beautiful way ...
Elizabeth - The other thing I'm finding is, that if I do them in the morning, too ... it helps set the energy of the entire day ...

Elizabeth - So I have a graphic icon on the Journal Page that this incredible graphic artist did for me ... and it IS the gratitude energy ... the water crystal ... it's beautiful.

maggie - Yes the act of thinking about it and writing it down, brings the energy in :).. for goals also! :)
Rosie Tara - Could you make an example for DOING, please
Marge - RT ... I just wrote down what I wanted to, even if it wasn't worded perfectly, ... after all, I know what I mean, and the Divine Universe will too, LOL (nobody else reading it, LOL)
Elizabeth - RT, it's like feeling something ... the doing of it is the feeling of it ...
Marge - Liz, do you do them shortly after you wake up? If so, do you find you repeat much of wht you've written the evening before?
Elizabeth - Marge, I did that, too. It was important to me to FEEL every word, more important than to have the language be perfect or correct ... LOL!

Elizabeth - In fact, the several times we've done that here, how incredible it felt to everyone here! The fact that we were ... well....writing it into this little white box at the top of the Chatroom page …is what helped spawn the idea for me!

Elizabeth - RT .. yes, in the beginning of being a professional, there were situations that were very scary. I remember a time I was with someone in his SUV, I was following the energy trail of two kidnapped dogs, I could “see” and “smell” and “sense” the trail …and the guy suddenly pulls out a shotgun and tells me he's going to blow the head off of the guy who took his dogs.

Elizabeth - Donna, you can ask for what you want to receive. And ask to not receive what you don't want to receive.
Elizabeth - Sara, I started to shake and said a very strong and immediate silent prayer to God for HELP!!!!
Sara - maybe the dogs ran away from him - its got that feel of creating bad energy
Donna - I understand, sometimes it will keep repeating and get stronger which I take as it really wants to come through
Sara - I would too
Elizabeth - And then I noticed a very strong pull of radiation energy ... and suddenly found myself asking if there happened to be a nuclear reactor anywhere near by ... the guy looked very surprised and said, 'Yes, why?' And out of my mouth came the words, “I’ve felt the energy from the reactor and it’s just neutralized my ability to track the dogs.”

Rosie Tara - You must have come across so many sad stories, too, Liz

Elizabeth - I told him I wouldn't be able to help him any more. And then I prayed that he would take me back to my car without incident.  It’s the last time I’ve gone with someone in one vehicle in a kidnapped animal event.

Elizabeth - Sara ... his dogs were very expensive dogs and he was very upset about their being kidnapped. His remaining dogs had seen the entire event.  They described the people (I later found out the descriptions were identical to neighbor eyewitnesses’ filed police reports), exactly how the kidnappers managed to get into the police dog-patrolled pen, how they got the dogs, the kind of vehicles they were driving and where they were parked, all of it.

Marge - RT ... when I was at an animal communication seminar in Oregon last year, Liz taught us a compassionate way to listen to a very sad story and not get to emotionally overwhelmed by it. I could hardly believe it, as I can cry in a second in a comedy! It worked, didn't it, Liz. Called " .... something Compassion" ... right Liz?

They're the ones that explained what the kidnappers looked like, how they were able to get into the pen to kidnap the dogs, what direction the van carrying the dogs had traveled away in, and all the aspects of the kidnapping.
